- Quick and easy video of the Scar 16/ 17 Gas jet removal. Tools needed will be (preferably) the Parker Mountain Machine Gas Jet removal tool, and Parker Mountain Machine gas jet of your size needed.

Can this be done with just a heat gun? Have you try that in advance? Just wondering if I need to get a torch. what size do you recommend for factory 16" barrel?

This is not to fire suppressed out of the scar 17, this is an adjustment jet to fire suppressed out of a scar 17 that has a barrel OTHER THAN THE FACTORY 16” that it comes with. It looks like you have a 13” barrel, so it should of came with the proper gas jet if it is an OEM barrel…if you had it cut down, THEN you could do this install.
Please give context info to people in full detail before you go putting videos out…
