Itâs all in the box first. Then surface area of the subs, then the power.
4 8s in a proper box will outperform 1 12 in a proper box in my opinion and it can handle probably more power than the 1 12
But in all reality if you have the space go bigger

When I had it I only had a agm battery in the back but you'll get better results with a upgraded alt and battery power

Honestly it depends on your box dimensions. Gotta get a sub thatâll work good with your box so youâll have to look at the subwoofers perimeters. But if not Iâll go evl if it was me

They are the skar audio svr 8s mines are dual 4 ohms. I would suggest getting the dual two ohms so you can wire them to 1ohm and get a skar rp 1500watt or a rp 2,000watt amp and it would slam bro

This particular setup did bro itâs all about the box and your electrical. Yes with truck boxes you are limited on space but you can get away with it by throwing power at the subs. But like I said your electrical is gonna have to be solid
shouldve done a small seat lift and made the box a little more shallow so more room for feet.. but other than that.. cheers.. looks/sounds good

Hey bro, I have an 04 extended cab (suicide back doors) does this set up knock dicks in the dirt. I've been searching for this exact set up but I'm old school. Like 12s and 15s. I'm looking at a G for all the equipment and dont want to spend that $$ if it dont pound like hell.

How did you get them to play the lows good? I got 4 svr 8" in a similar box. I got a skar 1500 monoblock amp pushing them at 1 ohm but the lows don't come through much

@@BassAddict91 I'm not sure but one person told me my port was too big. The box is the same size and shape as the one in your video, maybe a little shorter from front to back.
This box was tuned to 32hz so it loves the low notes. That's probably the reason they get so low bro if you get any box built tell them you want it tuned to 32 or 33hz. If you have the proper air space to build the correct size box

Badass! I have yet to find someone using the quad ported box with SVRs. Sitting in my âcartâ for purchase is the 4 SVRs, the quad Skar box, and the 1500.1 amp for my Silverado. What amp did you go with?
@juanalderete8087 I was running g the subs with a Stinger 2000 watt amp, and they were still hungry, so I upgraded to the d4s jp23 newest version and they woke up, I ended up getting another box by subthump for 4 8s and honestly think the skar box sounded better windows up or down, with the new box windows have to be down for it to really bump, because of the port location. Go with what's in your cart and I'm sure you will be impressed for what you spend, I'd recommend a larger amp though, 2000 or 2500 watts would be much better once fully broken in , they get smelly sometimes during break in but afterwards no problem pushing them much harder.. hope this helps.

Debating on 8 of these or 8 sundown e series for my daughter. How low do these hit comfortably
They get pretty low but with 8 of them you shouldn't have any issues anyway that'll be 3200watts rms they'll be able to handle
She likes the low 30s but shes on this rock kick now too so I'm just trying to get something that will do it all and do well on the meter.

The box could be too big for them and you could also have your gains up to high on the amp. Do you use bass boost on your amp if so that could contribute to the clipping as well
turn the bass boost down... only use 1 crossover.. meaning use settings on amp or on head unit not both.. hpf/Lpf
