      @@richardlobo88 madrid has escaped the dark phase multiple times by acting quick, be it 2009 or 2018. plus the club is run by the members, not by single man or a corporation, unlike the other big clubs. that's the reason why they are suffering now while madrid is still at the top after losing the GOAT.

      @@denver5093 no disrespect to la Liga. The race is always between Real Madrid and Barcelona, Ocassionally athletico Madrid.
      If you are referring to the league position, it's more due to Barcelona struggles rather than improvements of real madrid. Real madrid hasnt recovered from ronaldo leaving the club. Having said that there is more stability in Madrid.

      @@sidvyas8549 I think the last time a non Barcelona/ real madrid team that won the league was in 2003/04(someone clarify) my point being irrespective of the phase of these clubs Madrid will always make it to the top 3 spots.(its not because of the way the club is run, but because other clubs cant compete.)

    I absolutely loved watching Tifo with a calm and soothing voice and animations
    Now they don’t feel like that as much.

    its pretty obvious that Florentino is grooming him to be his successor once he is too old to run the club. And Sanchez also knows this. Also him being the key man behind bringing the cash in Real Madrid, probably also means the rest of the Board are keen on keeping him.

    Another real little known figure behind their success was Francisco Franco. Real Madrid was the chosen team of the Nationalist Dictatorship to represent Spanish success and succeeded greatly it did while receiving complete financial backing by the dictatorship that led to them winning their first five Champions League trophies in a row in the 50’s.

      Wasn't the same General Franco who save FC Barcelona in the 50's allowing the club to use a terrain that wasn't legally suitable to build a stadium (that terrain now is the Camp Now) or the one that saved the club in the 70's from bankrupcy (after that Franco received the only golden medal the club has given)? I think so, is the same man.
