      I have one 🙌🏼 and I'll never sell it! It has the carbon fiber interior package, ABT lowering kit, ABT catless exhaust, a 6 speed manual transmission swap, and a larger GT3076R K26 turbocharger on a old school 034 tubular manifold and 034 chip tune. Still a blast to drive after all these years. Can not wait to upgrade the fuel system and custom tune for E85!

    Still have my 2010 B8 S4 6 speed and still climbing at 305,000kms! That supercharger will be greatly missed & also the six speed as well! Wish Audi would have kept the six speed going but times have changed & the market wants an auto. The URS4 is one of those vehicles that paved the way for Audi to where they are today in the North American market. The mid-cycle refresh is well-needed looks more aggressive & props for keeping real signature quad exhaust tips! Lol

      100000000000000%, I had the 2014 S4 with its (stupid) reverse-scroll knob and the 2018 S4 with the writing surface.
      I DRAMATICALLY prefer the 2018 setup to my 2021 A4 with the touch screen only.

    • @lm1314
      @lm1314 Před 3 lety

      I agree. At least they kept the climate control the same and not the due screens like in higher models. I am sad the CD player is gone. Loved the Jukebox to burn CDs for road trips. Using the MMI wheel was so easy when you are driving. Hopefully they bring it back and have that with touch screen like BMWs.

    • @bpp325
      @bpp325 Před 3 lety

      Agree 100%. What turned me away is the fixed touch screen for any consideration. I want to drive the machine, not a smartphone with seats and wheels, a 3X S4 owner since 2000, I went to a 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio and never looked back. FTW.

    I rented one for a week--very good car--more on the cruiser side then a GT car. The AWD is more set t safety as opposed for performance--when i came down a mtn pass it kept the car at speed and slowed down in a turn automatically. Interior is nice--but electronics in Audis have spotty reliability.BTW I own a 2020 AWD stinger--way more sportier--the AWD system is actually better and smotther in my stinger for hi speed driving.It is a nice car--only problem with many german cars is the price--it has nothing over my stinger--you can buy a GT2 stinger also for about the same if you want electrnics and you get a better warranty and much cheaper to maintain.The AUDI feels like a 30k or so car with 15 to 20k in exotic leather and electronics--good for some--but not for me as an owner. Car also looks bland for being an S model and the brakes are not as good as the stingers brembo system.I also must admit they seemed to get better times then i felt the car could do.I ran a 4.27 to 60 and 12.7 in the quarter at the track (My stinger)--but when i rented this it just felt slower then this-I punched it a few times for HWY passes and it just did not feel like it had the midrange punch of my stinger--but obviously is very close.

      Im glad you enjoy your stinger...I have a 2018 S4 prestige and am pleased with it. The interior in the S4 is much better in terms of all offerings nappa leather and softer materials and no cheap plastics excellent tech virtual cockpit graphics, traffic jam assit etc. I have the top of the line with dynamic steering which makes for better feel of the road. I bought mine used as a certified with 6K miles like new for $52K a $18K discount! I have Michelin Pilot 4S tires and ran a best time of 4.19 to 60 and a 12.67 stock . The Stinger is also a heavier (300lbs more) car for my taste more A7 size 4023 lbs compare to the S4 at 3726. Finally the quattro (not a fake quattro see haldex system) is better over Xdrive or 4matic, great in the snow.

    • @lm1314
      @lm1314 Před 3 lety

      I have a '19 A4 and is plenty sporty and I think much better looking than the Stinger. I just looked it up. The dash reminds me of my 2005 Jetta GLI. Audi normally goes for more refinement even in sporty cars. The RS versions are where you get the most fun but can be refined when needed. Not sure what you are saying about Quattro but is a very good system. Different models can have different versions like Haldex in A3 vs truer Quattro in higher models and RS being more rear wheel drive bias.

    I'd rather have the 1992 model. At least it doesn't have a tacked-on iPad on the dash. When will carmakers stop thinking that styling a dash then sticking a screen on top is attractive? Hire some art students or something, Audi. You're better than this.

      It actually comes with 2 clutches.
      If you've not driven a car with a DSG, give it a try sometime. They are legitimately great transmissions. It might not elicit the same smile that you'd get on a perfectly rev matched downshift, but it is seamless, and "manual" mode will let you do whatever you want that doesn't involve blowing up the engine.

    All the exterior changes from the 2017 design are downgrades. Taken together, it's a huge step back.
    What is the gap between the hood and the top of the grill?
    WHY did they have to stretch and angle the grill even more? The last iteration was much more elegant.
    The fake front bumper vents are way too overstyled
    The crisp shoulder line on the side profile just dies in the middle and then comes back near the trunk... what?

      @John_Hoover Před 3 lety

      All this talk for decades now about Japanese cars ready to eat the Germans lunch. Never happens. Lexus is the only real player, and practically all they sell anymore are SUVs. Not knocking the product, but the general public buys luxury/sport Germans cars (again, not SUVs) in far greater numbers than they do Japanese. Things will be no different in 5-10 years.

      When I see car reviews on Lexus, they talks about their horrible entertainment system. I know someone with an Infiniti that was always having issues. Older Infiniti cars were better. Acura doesn't have anything on Germans on style and sporty. Remember the benchmark for style, performance and build quality is the German cars for a reason. Look at VW interiors, they are solid and good materials.
