I tend to put a higher priority on building the granary and storehouse, but I see now that it's not necessary early in the game. That's nice because it keeps two workers free. I'll have to try this next city I start up.
When you assign a burgage plot to an artisan occupation it permanently assigns to that occupation

I've found that getting that second Ox and assigning it to the Sawpit early, is crucial to solve the bottleneck of planks.

The start of the previous episode was really excellent, and so was the development of today's episode. I'm really curious about the city that will come out of it. A shame the game is still in development, but it looks promising!

The Apiary is probably on a hill, because it is harder to farm there, so the best use of resources.
Why do you wait so long for getting more oxen? And both the stone cutter and the forager hut is much more effective close to the materials. Then the granary workers will take 10 at the time instead of the berry/stoneworkers carrying one at the time.
