Hey... Love all the thought you put into that Nova... Beautiful... Question... Did Speedtech custom make that chin spoiler..?? I'm interested in a pair like those... Can you give me some information please...?
I just heard you say you made the chin spoiler... Maybe you can explain how you made it.... ? Any helpful hints, lol.... I'm not a metal bender, but I can probably do it.... Would you mind.... I love it..... Thx man....
From my research i gathered that the doors are the same, except for windows, interior panels and that the lock pin sits differently. You might be able to move the locking pin from earlier model to the 74 Doors to fit interior panel from 68-72.
A full 74 door with interior panel will fit right up. Mine are 74 doors. However, the door skins were a little rough. Jeremy couldn't find 74 door skins. So he used 72 door skins. The difference between them was the lip for the weather stripping because of the 72 vent window.
@SXS Garage ... I heard guys say they put the Glass from 73-74 doors in their 68-72.... You'd have to play with the channels that carry the glass etc I nside..snide... just use your original panels.... So far this is what I've found out... I'm thinking about seriously doing this.... so is the vent (where it was) going to be an issue...? It doesn't go straight across...??
Did you make the ginger cluster....& how did you make the chin spoiler...?? You didn't bend it completely.... where did you braze/solder it...?? Maybe I'll make one.... (a little different)... you mind showing me... a sketch....?? I'm trying to figure out how I want to design a giage cluster... I've been thinking about utilizing the aeronautical bezels.... Steampunk Industrial... I have some ideas I may try on a 3D printer..... Any help with what you've done would be appreciated.... Thx. & awesome NOVA you have... I've got a 71... I like the 74 windows, but don't want to swap doors... Can't you just replace the 71 glass with the '74 glass .... ?? I'm sure you've thought about that at one time..... Talk to me.... Thx
I know Speedtech designed a lot of this car. I can reach out to the owner but I’m not sure if he has a sketch of it or not? I’ll see what info I can get from Charles
Jeremy at Speedtech made the gauge panel. I made the splitter out of 4 aluminum pieces and tig welded it together. The left and right main pieces, and the two end pieces.
The only thing I would change would be the wheels, that car is made for some nice fat tires: Mickey Thompsons in the rear coupled with some weld rims all around, other than that what a nice build😃👍
So Charles is running 18x11 jongbloeds but he doesn’t suggest running 11” as 10.5” fit better. However, he’s running custom axles so his offsets are different and specifically for his car so he suggest measuring your own to see what fits for your application. Hope that helps
I had to take a screen shot and zoom in on it as I never even noticed prior to your comment. Defiantly not a swastika but I also don’t know what’s embroidered on the hat either.
Great car mate
Big fan of the Nova's. Very cool car. You did everything right Charles....
You know you're a badass when you can put a vehicle back together.
Hell yeah that is one sexy Nova! 🦾
Couldn’t agree more
Local boy! HI193. What a great road to drive!
I wish I had more time to film on that road.
@@315squared4 I'm building a 66 nova coupe. TCI full suspension, LT4 etc. When I'm done. You can come back!
@@LT4Nova I’m down. I have more vehicles to shoot up there anyways
I hope my 69 nova comes out and performance like this one...cool car man
He loves it and I love which is why is I wanted to share it with you guys and girls out there

👏🏽👏🏽
What a cool Car!!! reagrds from Germany
I agree
Great car.
Just gotta love those windy roads with a stick in your right hand.
He definitely lived near some cool roads.
Was talking about your nova with speedtech today. They told me the mod that was done with the wheel wells.
Well it’s not my nova but Charles nova. Glad you got to talk to speedtech in Texas I’m assuming
Nice Nova! I would do the front splitter in black, it looks raw unfinished in grey. But that's my two cents.
Too each his own I guess. It’s easy to change if he wanted too. I do love this Nova though regardless
I will do it I'm black as well Maybe flat instead of satin
Tooooooo many ads.... Torturous to watch the whole video. Love everything about your car brother.

Great Nova Are the 74 doors perfect fit or did have to make mods?
I’m not sure. I’d have to reach out to the owner to find out

I just reached out to the owner Charles to shed some light on the subject

How much total for speedtech chassis and suspension modifications? Thanks. Great ride.
I have no idea. I just filmed the video. You would have to reach out to speedtech for prices
@@315squared4 thanks bro. Video production very good. Keep them coming

do you know by any chance what gauge cluster the owner is using at the time this video was made really interested?
I’ll ask him. I should see him next week at LS Fest West

@@charleshuffhines36 thanks for the reply. It’s hard to keep up with all the comments sometimes. Hope you had a great New Years

Happy New Year man

How much was the cost?
I would never ask but I’m sure it wasn’t cheap to have built.
Any relation to Nathan Huffhines?
I sent him a message to ask.
Charles said he is not related.
Gives no wheel spec
I can reach out to the owner and get that

? Um no, that says Six Six. It is a Duramax diesel hat.
