I have had this for 3 years even tho im bipolar type 2 and a half (bd 2, 1/2).. not good trying to quit now
Lexepro must be starting at 5mg for 10 days then up to 7.5mg for 10 days then up to 10mg
I want to switch from Paroxetine to Lexapro but I cannot get the prescription because my family doktor refuses to deal with this kind of medication and my specialist says i need to deal with my problems through cognitive therapy and time. He says switching i risk for you so i am stuck in this situation for over 11 months now. Very frustrating. There is also no alternative because for switching to another psychiater the waiting times are 6 months plus in my area.
interested in how you might be planning to manage the side effects which made you want to stop lexapro initially.
Intend being a lot more proactive about raising them if they arise. I'm not expecting that they can be avoided entirely but hoping that the benefit risk balance will work out!
A combination of Trintellix 20 mg plus 5 mg of Lexapro is being tried

It does nothing for anxiety but lexepro is much better.
