It would of been amazing to hear DJ quik make a beat for Biggie in 1997. That would of been crazy since he sitting with Biggie's amazing image in the background.

@@omarn4457 them Compton niggas was heated behind Pac death
Ironically at 4:44 Biggie's 🤴🏿 ghost, behind him was calling him out on hiding out in his mamas house after what happed to Biggie in 1997.
Wow, the timing at 4:44 and the errie Biggie image in the background.
Biggie's ghost must be haunting quik for that beef but especially when he starting speaking about being at home.
Sounds stupid ain’t nobody haunting nothin
Yeah, thats errie, I just realized that. Props for pointing that out.
Ohh snap, that is errie. Imagine him at home like a rabbit in the hole because of that past and history he has with Deathrow and Biggie.
41:27 He said he met Biggie at 92.3 the beat but in 1995, riiight....but in 1997 you got into a heated argument with Biggie when he was in Cali and you were throwing gangs signs at Biggie at the vibe party the night Biggie died, who never said anything to you...
I heard DJ Quik approached Biggie's table yellin "deathrow, westside" but Biggie did pay him no trolling attention. Biggie's team did upgrade security at the table until the party was shut down by fire dept.
@@gmarritz9557 NAH NOT TRUE
@@gmarritz9557 yep, this is why he does not want to talk about it
I hate to break it to you but that vibe party thing never happened.
Everyone seems to think Biggie was so innocent, if he was really hood like he portrayed himself to be he would've know to stay out of LA period.common sense tbh i don't condone what happened but him and his people were way out of line with that move.
I love the intro to this pod cast. I have it on repeat and had to share that with ya. They need to interview Kevin Gates next who is much more interesting!
1:35:46 He does not seem genuine and seems to be worried about questions from his past, ie, when they asked "5 dinner guests, dead or alive", he looked nervous and needed a retake.
Yeah, he looked confused on that one as well.
He must of thought they asked him who you think killed Biggie.
The interviewer were about to sleep while quik was talking. I felt like sleeping as well. He does looks nervous and looking down on the floor most of the interview.
Same here, he is just bland
Yall make no sense this is a hip hop history lesson quik that dood
The interviewer did not even finish his introducrion and quik had to chime in. This dude has suspect vibes.
🤡 u reaching hard
When he spoke about family and not trust family, that made the room akward.
That asked the question
@@JJR1993 They asked him for any advise he would give and he come out of left feild with that rant 1:28:25 🤦🏿♀️ Look at the interviewers body language 😆. Props to them for not laughing.
@@khamalaj6001 he interpreted the question from if he could give advice to “his” younger self. If you know DJ Quiks history about the stuff he and his family went through earlier in his career you would know why he answered like that. We all can relate to that in some way or another. and I would admit, I did cringe at that moment in this interview too because of an awkward family situation I’m going through now. I do agree with you.
@@JJR1993 The question was what advise would he give to young and coming people, and he went into this akward rant about his susters medical condition and ect. Then again, he fabricated his affiliation with gang bangin so what you expect from someone like this.

The interviews can tell there is something off with quik from the jump. He looks like they were gonna grill him for what suge did to Biggie and his association that night.
all yo young ass know is these webcast lies. I'm old enough to have been around back then. Quik aint had nun to do with that. You too young to know.
Y’all need to let this shit go … you ain’t never getting biggie back, we ain’t never getting pac … puffy should of never brought big to L.A and let him get killed… be mad at that nigga…
He looks like he has alot to hide especially his lies about affiliation to bangin and his history with Biggie.
He does look like he has a bad case of anxiety because of that history, especially that Biggie connection confirmed by both Gene Deal and Keefe D.
He is like, " please don't ask me about that beef I was instigating. Let's talk about my irrelevant career" 🙏😂😅
Thanks to the interviewers for keeping their cool. Interesting he started speaking about Biggie but his body language changed.
He looks suspect, especially speaking about The beef and lying about his affiliation. That Biggie subject probably gets him nervous
If you know anything about Quik he hates talking of rappers deaths he literally says it in his music etc. seems like someone always has a opinion with little or no knowledge of the person they are commenting on
Yeah, quik was talking alot of hot mess during the beef and had that song Ny87 disssing the eastcoast calling them the enemy and they were dissing Biggie on the track.
He looks likes he is hiding alot of stuff but clearly is working hard on it because.of his body language and lies.
Is it him lying tho? Or he just can’t say some things that he really been holding in tho. You don’t know anything so why cast stones at him
5:20 🤔 but quick is always accredited as one of the earliest artists to rep a set
I'm pretty sure quick has openly admitted he was never a banger. If you say so, show the links. His music doesn't dictate that neither.

The iconic Biggie mural behind quik still haunts those who did Biggie wrong, like quik did to Biggie when he was going at Biggie in 1997. Rest in peace Biggie 🙏
