Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

I had 2 cats that followed my kids and I on walks and Echo even followed my kids to school (across the street) and would even go to class with them! My other cat Hikaru went for walks with us. Your property is so amazing!

The kitchen came with the contents of the cabinetry
The house came fully stocked. The old owners left pretty much everything as is. They just left, like on a holiday and never came back.

We also were adopted by a stray goat. She didn't belong to any of our neighbors. We posted signs and alerted the animal control center, but in the end, we got a beautiful goat that was accepted by our herd. đ Goats are so much fun â„ïž
You have to love an adventure cat!! My little Jasper used to follow us, walking or cross-country skiing in the winter. He was such a dear, sweet cat. He loved sitting, chillin, in trees. Years later, we had a cat that followed my husband out to the lake (on our 250 acre property). Sadly one time, when Walter (the cat) came out of the forest on their way back, he ran in to the fields (as he usually did) and we never saw him again. We figure it was the coyotes or a fox got him.
My current cat isnât as adventurous as he was when he was younger, but used to walk with me and the dog out to the edge of the forest.

In 1983, now 40 years ago, we put up this style light in the kitchen of our 1874 house. We moved out of that house in 2015 and the lights were still there.

Greetings from Chiapas, Mexico. Isn't it fun to accomplish small things like a bit of redecorating with new cabinet door hardware. Speaking of fun; I've always been lucky with cats that acted more like dogs, as well as real canines, who followed me all around the property, not to mention the blessing of having such a gorgeous plot of land to be followed around on by such a lovely critter like Fernando. It's also very interesting that you have a nice combination of pond, streams, meadows, forest and of course the mountain. Blessings to all from Mexico.

I recently have a new cat it was a stray and I live in a quite large spread out country like apartment complex so I bought a tracker for this cat. I was shocked at how far away he went, but I figured itâs because he was a stray heâs used to roaming and looking for food. Itâs a useful tool to not stress out so much.
Itâs really fascinating to see where they adventure!
