The reason I asked as a trans woman I have been to 3 LBGTQ events, now and in every case, I have had Butch Lesbians come up to me and get mad and say I will never be a woman and laugh at me. I just don't understand the mindset, it makes me feel LBGTQ is for women and women only. I am not mad I just want to understand. I actually have a daughter that is Lesbian, and I have no issues with that she's my daughter and I love her no matter what. I always hear the phrase love don't Judge. I believe in that. And so, you know I think you 2 are a beautiful couple and love your channel. Keep doing what you're doing your channel is very educational and good for the soul.
I very much enjoyed your channel. I’m a 62 yo post-op trans woman. I began transitioning at 57, so I’m still learning new things every day. Dating and companionship is always on my mind, and you gals make a good example for me. Thanks!

I feel like your voices are so suitable for video games narration (and reminds me of Call of The Sea). Sorry for the random thought. Appreciate the audio clarity with the mic! Both of you are lovely.
That's a very sweet thought, thanks! None of us have played call of the sea tho, haha, so we'll have to take your word for it : )
And thank you - it was very important for us to try and do it right the first time around, so it's good to know it's appreciated!

Just an observation on your explanation of danish middle names. My grandparents came from Denmark. They named all of their children (5 boys, 4 girls) with the same middle name. “Hyldgaard”. It was a name of an estate where our ancestors were farmers for a rich aristocratic family long ago. The name has stayed in the family for more than 200 years, if you can believe the stories I’ve been told.
That's so interesting! And Hyldgaard is such a pretty name too!
I thought Anya was Caitriona Balfe..😍
Haha, sorry to disappoint (?) ; )
@@WivesVsWorld Nope, you/your wife more beautiful than her, you should be grateful, God bless you both😊

Im sure again i will get no response.
Yet you did : )
Would you join a MtoF on hormones? Long term, commited.
I'm so sorry for this question. Maybe you don't know the answer. Most women don't want to respond to the question. Why is it ok for women to wear men's cloths but not alloweed for men to wear women's cloths? Just curious as no woman wants to respond to that question?why is that ?
I don't think it is really on women as a whole to explain this, but I'll give it a go and point you towards some topics you can read up on. There's not one simple answer, though.
First, it is not that there are hard and fast rules about what you can and can't wear, but there are conventions. These change over time, as we can see when looking back at earlier times in history, where pink was reserved for baby boys (early 20th century), or when high heels and wigs were a staple for noble men in europe.
Women in Western societies tended to not wear trousers up until the mid-20th century (with exceptions throughout history), and from my understanding the change in this attitude was tied both to WWII where "men's work" had to be taken over be the people who couldn't serve in the war and thus adopted more appropriate attire for that work, as well as a stronger push through women's movements in the 60s and 70s to normalise trousers for women.
Now, women wearing trousers is seen as an accepted norm, whereas men wearing dresses isn't. Why is that? This is where it becomes a bit complicated, but bear with me.
For one, Western societies tend to put more value in what is seen as "masculine". This ties strongly to the idea of a patriarchal societal structure, where the man was seen as the breadwinner and decision-maker in families, and to a larger extent as the leaders of the world. In this context, one could argue that "masculine" aspects have been elevated at the expense of what is seen as "feminine". Men are apparently supposed to be manly, and femininity is seen as "less than".
You may have heard of toxic masculinity, which in essence is a reinforcing social mechanism whereby masculine ideals are upheld in some communities and societies. It is NOT a term that suggests all masculinity is toxic, merely that some groups value masculinity to an extent where all that is not masculine - such as wearing "girly" clothes - is seen as inferior behaviour and therefore ridiculed. This leads to a vicious circle that reinforces the "masculine" while degrading the "feminine".
The main takeaway is that men wearing "women's clothes" is seen as "not okay" because society in general sees it that way, not because it inherently is so. The idea of what constitutes a "real man" is artificial at best, and generally changes over time, and even from culture to culture.
Hope this helps.
And just to clarify, we at Wives Vs World don't subscribe to the idea that people can't wear whatever they want - personal expression is both valuable and important, and the ideas of "masculine" and "feminine" are often outdated and restricting.
