Hello Folks and welcome to the first of this week's video reviews - and boy, do we have something special for you today! Yes, we are going to look at the latest offering from developer INIBUILDS, released through both the INIBULDS and SIMMARKET stores and it's just incredible! LONDON LUTON AIRPORT in the UK (EGGW), London's fourth airport, alongside Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, this is a fully feature rich scenery which has just about everything for the airline pilot who will fly in and out of here. No details too small and nothing left out, this is one of the top airports currently available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
There are one or two issues which I would like to see additional work taken on for a potemtial Version 2.0, but the airport itself is just amazing and this product, which is pretty competitively priced, really could give some of the other top developers a real run for their money! Do you know what will happen if you DON’T use photogrammetry?
Just saw the the information on the web page that you have too use photogrammetry ON which I don’t like to be honest.
That’s one of the reason I didn’t bought the airport so far!

Hi and thanks for watching. Ok, I did a little experiment for you. I loaded the scenery then turned Photogrammetry OFF. I then scoured the airport - and to be honest, I could not see any difference! No difference at all! The only thing I found was that the Qatari Airbus seen in the review video, was indeed an FSLTL injection and not a static model with the scenery. Now I use the Premium Deluxe Edition of MSFS2020 on a desktop PC, bought from the Microsoft Store. But as I said, I did not see any difference at all to the airport and even locally. Hope this helps. The background music is very distracting. I gave up after a couple of minutes because it was so irritating. What is its purpose?
Hello Paul and thanks for watching and commenting. Sorry you thought that the music was distracting. I’ve never had any complaints about it in over 400 videos. It’s just that - back ground music. Sometimes it’s hard to get the sound level right. Sorry it didn’t really work for you. All the best. Lee
@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot Yours are the only Flightsim videos (and I watch dozens) that feel the need to have this noise. You might reflect on the fact that it could be off putting for many others who don’t take the trouble to let you know. Background music on films an TV is designed to create a mood, but your thump-thump only simulates a headache.

@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot Thanks - could be worthwhile asking for details of age as well. Some studies show that the older we get the more distracted we are by background noise. Your videos are clearly rigorously researched, but it would be a shame if you're losing a certain demographic.
@@paulmiddleton7215 I cannot really ask for age as it would potentially violate GPWR regs here in the UK - but we'll see. I only started this in August 2020 as a way of giving back to the Community. It has taken that long to get the subscriber base that I have and I am unable to monetise the channel. I'm retired now and try my best to do a good job for those who would part with their hard earned cash. Just trying to do what I can among the big boys. Take care - Lee

But in my humble opinion this *IS* the best version of Luton so far. And it seems I might have listed the actual developer incorrectly, so I'll correct it - yes, this is the version from Inibuilds.
