@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot Yours are the only Flightsim videos (and I watch dozens) that feel the need to have this noise. You might reflect on the fact that it could be off putting for many others who don’t take the trouble to let you know. Background music on films an TV is designed to create a mood, but your thump-thump only simulates a headache.

@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot Thanks - could be worthwhile asking for details of age as well. Some studies show that the older we get the more distracted we are by background noise. Your videos are clearly rigorously researched, but it would be a shame if you're losing a certain demographic.

@@paulmiddleton7215 I cannot really ask for age as it would potentially violate GPWR regs here in the UK - but we'll see. I only started this in August 2020 as a way of giving back to the Community. It has taken that long to get the subscriber base that I have and I am unable to monetise the channel. I'm retired now and try my best to do a good job for those who would part with their hard earned cash. Just trying to do what I can among the big boys. Take care - Lee

It's not the greatest version in the world and currently FSDG are close to finishing their version whch I will also review. But it is the best version we have todate. And this is a developer who is slowly improving his skills to produce better results. I like it - but looking forward to seeing what FSDG can do. Lee

I think generally their work is good. It’s not FlyTampa or Pyreegue Dev Co, but it’s quite good. I’m always amazed however at what Devs choose not to include! We all want perfection and seldom do we get it I’m afraid. I do stand by my comments but, yes, this could be much better. But that is true of so many good products that are not great. To be honest, I have just loaded the scenery and yes, I can see a small bend in the middle of the runway, but it's not that pronounced - cerainly not bad enough to hinder a takeoff or landing. I just checked out some more images on the Net and the difference is minimal really. But I'll try to email them myself and see if they reply. Lee

@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot I have a bit of an OCD thing with respect to runway alignment, which is why I have contacted a handful of developers regarding the runway centreline markings at various airports! I am a beta tester for UK2000 Scenery, and proper alignment of runway markings and lighting is the FIRST thing that I check when I get my hands on a new airport.

@@Mogget5 That's fair enough. I guess if I was looking at a more major scenery project, I would feel the same way. Paros is really nice, but it's far from a major undertaking. Nonetheless, it's a nice scenery and I do like it. I have emailed the developer - let's see if I get a reply. Lee

Each to their own Philip. It's just that I see so many "lifeless" airports! Stunningly, really well modelled sceneries - but no life! These days, with what MSFS can show us now and the advent of excellent people models both static and animated, that just don't hit the framerate anymore, it's kind of a shame not to populate an airport and give it some life! But I get it, for some it's not the be all and end all. And I try hard in videos to look closely at what the pilot needs to see - and is it all there that he needs. Lee

Hello Tom and thanks for watching and commenting. I have not seen this and I can find no record of this as a bug report. Do you use the PC version or is this on Xbox? Usually when I encounter this sort of thing, I start by uninstalling the scenery first. Then run a clean up of your computer (I use CCleaner to remove temprary files and clag /unwanted files). Next, remove all third party scenery from your Community Folder and then reinstall the scenery again so that it is the only add-on there. Reboot your PC (if it is a PC and not Xbox). Run the Simulator again and make your you have photogrammetry enabled and see if it cures the issue. If this does not work, you may have to manually reposition the scenery using the re-ordering tool in the MSFS menu. This will allow you to "move" the scenery to the top priority. Let me know how you get on. Lee

Hi and thanks for watching. Ok, I did a little experiment for you. I loaded the scenery then turned Photogrammetry OFF. I then scoured the airport - and to be honest, I could not see any difference! No difference at all! The only thing I found was that the Qatari Airbus seen in the review video, was indeed an FSLTL injection and not a static model with the scenery. Now I use the Premium Deluxe Edition of MSFS2020 on a desktop PC, bought from the Microsoft Store. But as I said, I did not see any difference at all to the airport and even locally. Hope this helps. Hello Andy. No. Gary has used high resolution parallaxing to give the illusion of interior modelling, but The Terminal is not developed inside. If you use the drone to go inside from Landside, you'll find an empty shell. Probably the best example is the NATS Building. Lower the light to just after DUSK and check out the windows. This effect is what Gary has used on this product mostly. Lee

When I saw your message, I did a little research and here's what I came up with:- Moscow Domodedovo Airport, Russia (UUDD) - ------------------------------------------- Airport originally had TWO Parallel Runways - 14R/32L - 11,483 feet / 3500 metres 14L/32R - 7776 feet / 2370 metres (This SHORTER Runway is now designated 14C/32C in real life) --------------------------- The Default MSFS2020 scenery shows the new Runway built in 2014, length 12,467 feet / 3800 metres and designated 14L/32R, as well as the current Runway 14R/32L, at 11,483 feet / 3500 metres; No SHORT Runway in the default scenery - This runway is now 14C/32C in the real world and on VATSIM Jeppesen Chart is currently November 2022 and shows all THREE Runways. --------------------------- Moscow Scenery by Digital Design - updated to v1.1 in December 2022 (2.87GB)- Scenery shows Runway 14R/32L; 14C/32C; (Runway 14L/32R is there but not designated or marked - just there). There has been no update to the Digital Design product since December 2022 to update it to all 3 runways; -------------------------- NOTE - Runway 14R/32L is currently the only runway in use - the others closed for maintenance. I hope this helps. I may contact the Team at DD to see if they plan to update it. Lee

It's good for online flying as it shows correct liveries of other aircraft on VATSIM but it often places static aircraft from countries that you would not find in that airport! Many developers DO, in fact, produce their sceneries with AI in mind, but not all - which is one reason why I like to include a Features List in my reviews where they mention AI. I have just released a review video of UK2000scenery's version of Aberdeen, recently available, which I think is much better. The addition of helicopter sounds are possible, given the sound options available for developers in the Simulator now (hear the many sounds in the Simwings version of Nuremburg Airport - also reviewed on my channel) and so maybe they can be added at some stage. Hello and thanks for watching and for your kind comments. You could ofcourse always wait for the sales; Gary's product might be available in a sale. That said, you are correct about the helicopters. Actually sounds can be produced separately within the Sim - notably the sounds which can be heard in SimWings's Nuremburg scenery (see the review on my channel) and if you listen closely as you pass over my Airbus A320 in this video, you can hear the FEGP Unit, so it can be done. I guess we await developers stepping up their game here and thinking about such things as ambiant sounds which the Sim does provide options for. ll the best - Lee

@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot Thanks Lee I will watch that video, infact I had no idea you had so many wow, quite a list for me to get through.. I think Location sound is a thing developers are missing and I had put it down to it being difficult or impossible to do.. At the moment I am struggling to get my autopilot for Fenex A320 to engage and I have watch countless You Tube.videos. Most You Tubers when instructing a new aircraft, tend to not instruct but show off their speed or waffle.. Which makes it a long effort when trying to copy them... What I mean in my opinion is, what is required is a slower step by step with no waffle to show how to set a complex aircraft like the A320 up for flight, so you as a simmer can quickly copy step by step when learning. Just my opinion.

@@alwatt9367 The autopilot issue is supposed to be fixed now! What I would do is, first remove any V2 liveries from your Community folder; Next, completely un-install the Fenix (make sure you have downloaded or have access to the V2.0 EXE file first and also ensure you have your login name and password for the Fenix Manager). Reboot your PC. Next, go into the small ICON bar at the bottom right of your taskbar and shut down any programs that are running and then disable your anti-virus for 10 minutes. Now reinstall Fenix v2.0 Reboot the PC and ensure your anti-virus is active again. Last thing to do is to go into MSFS and check your autopilot settings. Make sure you have the autopilot ON/OFF correctly assigned! And before leaving the Controls menu, check for any rogue assignments. Remember that the autopilot can be engaged right after lift off - but I always set it ON around 1000 feet or so AGL. I hope it works for you. cheers. Lee

@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot Judging by their name and the scenery they mostly produce, I think Vuelosimple are South American. These guys are Verticalsim, who I'm pretty sure are based somewhere in the southeastern US.
