  • Hello Folks and welcome to the first of this week's video reviews. Today, we revisit BILBAO Airport (LEBB) in northern Spain and a newer Version 5.0 of this scenery from developer Beautiful Model Of The World (BMOTW).
A brand new product, totally overhauled and making good use of our favourite Simulator's great facilities to bring out the best in the visualisation of an important Spanish airport. It is obvious that some magic has been worked here. The airport is really well modelled with hardly any photoground at all. The stunning Terminal is fully modelled and the Cargo facility is also created in high detail. The only issues I can find are "bumping" problems when visiting the open tunnels and getting too close to the Car Park and landside Terminal area. If these are addressed, you'll have a fully complete product at a really competitve price. Check out the video and see if you agree with me.

I think BMW is one of the most underrated developers for MSFS. My first taste of his work was CYUL and I was really impressed - he appears to put a lot of effort into the landside areas of his airports and those areas are often just as important as airside.

I completely agree Karl. You can always count on his projects being well worth investigating as a purchase. I like his work quite a lot. This is one of the few sceneries I have looked at where tunnels have been modelled. I hope that access will be sorted out, along with the “bumping”. But certainly I really like this new version of Bilbao. Thanks for watching

I purchased this last week and think it’s quite good. Really nice approach too and I quite like the terminal modeling.

Hello and thank you for watching and commenting. Yes, the Terminal is quite the stand out feature. Generally, it's a reeally great scenery. Lee

Very slick review as ever Lee. I'm hoping this will be released to those of us who signed up to his original offering. According to his website this will be available soon, so I'm hopeful. If not I'll have to dip into my wallet again !! 🙂

I'm not certain of that Terry. We will have to wait and see. Let's hope so. Lee

One minor criticism is the tress on the approach. They aren't there in the real world. Is that something the dev has control/ability to correct?
    Another great review, thanks.

I think he probably can, but it does depend on how skilled he is. That should be a terraforming issue which he could potentially sort out. I would contact IniBuilds where the scenery is being offered, to mention this to the developer. Good luck. Lee

Hello Lee. I bought this airport from Steam and it is currently at version 4.4.2. Is this update 5 something made by Ini? or by BMOTW? From what I understand from you, it is made by BMOTW. Then why is the update only on Ini? Is v5 different from 4.4.2.
On another note, could you do a review on LUKK from MXI? Thank you! I really appreciate your work!

Hello and thanks for watching and commenting. As far as I know version 4.4.2 (which is still offered for sale on Simmarket) is the previous version. Version 5.0 is th newer and updated version which features in my review. BMOTW is a foreign developer who is unable to present his work independantly and so it features on sites like ORBX and bnow IniBuilds. This version 5 is from BMOTW and just released through Inibuilds.
If you check my website each week (virtualairlinepilot.org) you will see details of each week's upcoming video reviews - and LUKK will be featured this week. All the best - Lee
