[MSFS2020] | VAN NUYS AIRPORT, CALIFORNIA (KVNY) BY ORBX | A VIDEO REVIEW

Hello Folks and welcome to the second of this week's videos, in which we examine VAN NUYS Airport in California, USA (KVNY), an offering from the ORBX stable. This scenery, which has been out for a while now and at first look might not appear to be that detailed, is actually full of additions almost everywhere you look. Despite the default scenery being very close to the add-on scenery, the whole thing generally blends quite well and there is a lot to enjoy here.
Dusk and night time looks really good too, with wonderful taxiway signage, all lit up and loads of hanger space and static models all relevant to this airport. If you fancy a change from KLAX or KSAN, this might be the one for you. Nothing really to complain about, except some corrections are needed to the runway lighting. See what you think.

Love the review! A friend and I are begging Orbx to release this one on Xbox.
However, the lack of progress on that front and the continued issues with Xbox, I may make the switch to PC later this year.

To be honest Kit, I could not envisage flying MSFS on XBOX! That's just my opinion, but having seen my kids using Xbox, I could not conceive of it. And with my 31" and 27" screens and the Sim running at 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution it looks great!

Also, if I may make a recommendation: Can you include "before & after" installation images of the Aiport on the pre-flight World Map?
This would give your viewers more to consider when buying.

Ok, exactly what do you mean? I use the Google Map images just to show where in the world the airport is and to have the history part make sense. What "before & after" do you mean?

@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot Images of various areas of the airport before installation of the ORBX scenery and then following installation. Various people do this when previewing a new airport addition. Some scenery additions merely add a bit of clutter around the airport and tweak a few buildings, others like Inibuilds, will rebuild from the bottom up.
