- Today we’re checking out London Luton Airport from @iniBuilds as we take a flight from Luton up to Edinburgh on Vatsim, in the PMDG Boeing 737-800. Some awesome ATC coverage, special thanks to the controller covering the London airspace, who did an awesome job despite having a very full plate!
It'll be great to use Luton more over time now we have some fantastic scenery on hand for it, hopefully it will attract more Vatsim pilots to the airport, which in turn, will increase the coverage in the area.

😂
These highlight type videos are really appreciated alongside the full flights... They're short but very engaging...
Had this controller a few times haha he’s a good one
like the videos david keep up the vatsimming!
loverly video once again :) scenery looks pretty nice!
Great vid David..Nice sim with nice detail...A cross section of what you currently do is perfect.. Keep everyone happy..👋👍
In an ideal world I’d turn the streams into this, they just don’t quite edit down the same way, and I don’t want to make the streams feel wierd just to get a video out of it after. Something for me to work on, for sure
@@AirNOTT Hi David. Perhaps focus on 1 live stream per week as well as a product test & then maybe a tuition vid... Obviously time dictates what you can do.
Just a thought.🤔👍
Livestreams are good when you're providing advice/tutorials on new sceneries/airports/aircrafts.
Introduce your FIX rings on the arrival runway. Gives a visual ref point at 15/10/4mile finals to help with flaps/IAF for the runway & final approach speed.
Good vid, tempted to get Luton 👍👍
Appreciate it!
Definitely enjoy the highlights video like this one. Particularly Vatsim related. Thanks for your content
Love these types of videos
Nice video! The luton scenery looks great!
Yeah they did a great job. A nice one to have on the books to flesh out the UK airports
Just came across your channel today, very great of it. I have so much interest in flight Sims that I have been watching a lot of videos but due to setup being expensive I can not afford anything to do with it. So, I have been wondering if joining in as a ATC, does one need to buy any devices? Please do a video on that in terms of what is needed. Your new subscriber from Botswana 🇧🇼 🇧🇼 🇧🇼 🇧🇼. Hopefully one day I would be an ATC in Africa region and have you fly to Botswana
“Welkome to gatwick” 😂
Excellent video, really enjoyed it. I’ve recently started using GSX. I particularly like that by preselecting a gate/stand a progress meter appears to marshal you in.
Perfect separation on approach. Sometimes flying through the localiser then turning back on to the ILS helps with separation
Good point, I hadn’t actually considered that. Thanks!
love it awesome
Thank you!
Hey man love the vatsim vids as a new comer to vatsim myself.
I’ve noticed in your video at Dublin where you got confused with taxiing and then again just as you showed us here what you expect to taxi from, you zoom in on navigraph map and use that.
I was doing that and missing holding points etc as I thought that was the easiest way because I could follow my icon on the map but if you use the parking stand and taxi charts, they have a lot more and clear instructions for taxi.
Just a heads up as it’s benefited me while new to vatsim :)
Yeah I’ve often wondered if that would be a better idea. Too bad because it’s so convenient to zoom and pan around on the map! Maybe a dedicated iPad/tablet always in my view would help. Overlaying the app within windows is a pain
@@AirNOTT yeah I’m planning on getting a tablet just for charts. Would make a massive difference to me. Like you say it’s the convenience of the map
Is there an option to turn off airport interiors because I want to buy some airports but my computer isn’t powerful enough to run them smoothly
Hi. Have you used TrackIR as a comparison to Toby? I’m wondering whether to upgrade. Many thanks 👍
No, sadly not!
I was the easyjet waiting for you to pass at Luton
Ah nice! You have the new scenery?
@@AirNOTT yep
i also used gatwick my fps were 4 xd
Sounds perfect! 😅
Is airnott a vatsim recognised airline or do they just read back what you say?
If you pop “callsign/airnott” in your remarks they are fine with it, on the whole
@@AirNOTT interesting to know. 👍
Does it have a GSX profile?
I believe so, yes
How much was the scenery?
Around £17 I think, I forget the exact figure now
