- The CT4-V Blackwing has both extreme styling and performance from Cadillac. On the outside there is a ton of carbon fiber aero, forged wheels and performance exhaust. On the inside you are greeted by a fulle leather interior, digital gauge display and unique steering wheel. Under the hood is a 3.6L twin-turbo V6 that pumps out 472HP. My husband won this CT4-V Blackwing last September. Kenneth K of Louisiana. We brought it home from Tampa and it is sitting in our garage to sell. Mileage 1600. It is a VIN001.
The blackwings make my heart pitter patter. That’s for sure,yes,even though I personally would go with a manual;but each transmission is good in their own ways.

I had a "78" Sedan Deville with a "425" ci engine and it was smooth and fast enough for me. It was much better than the HT4100. The V864 was ahead of its time and had bugs that needed to be figured out. By the time they got it right, they had moved on because of the reputation that wasn't good enough to continue at the time.
Now just about every gasoline powered automobile company on the planet uses a similar product for many of their vehicles.
I already owned an ATS-V. Besides a few issues with tranny reprogramming, it was one heck of a car. Surprised quite a few M's and AMG's with it.
Idk if it’s better, but it’s definitely cooler. There’s a definitive “if you know, you know” mentality about V-cars.

Alright Joe this CTV4 Blackwing sure does fly high and earns its wings! Love the sound, the tech, luxury, classiness, and sport feel. I don't mind the graphics package either. I still like the ATS-V Coupe, such a great-looking car, especially in blue.
I love my ATS 2.0t but ct4 may be on my list next. Though I’m not getting rid of my ATS or ion redline supercharged 😅

Excellent review, one thing to note though, I wouldnt promote dream giveaway garage. They have a reputation on praying on gullible people, skewing giveaways, and even sometimes not holding their end of the bargain.
And I notice this car had a redline of 4500 rpm. For the first 500 miles for break in your not supposed to go over 4000. Obviously that was overlooked. I get it for the excitement factor but the guys revving the hell out of the car Although it would be a free car
🇬🇧 From what I’ve heard about the ‘CT4-V’ Blackwing, its Lighter than the CT-5V making it a more agile Track Car. I’ve seen a test on track of the CT4 and according to ‘TheTopher’ this is the lighter one!

It's really hard to choose between the M5CS or Blackwing!! Choose the BlackWing but with the M5CS interior design and those gorgeous Carbon Fiber buckets seats!!

The CT5 V BW starts at around $92k for the manual if you want the 10 spd auto is $95k. Granted after taxes and all the fees you are getting close to that $100k or more. But I'd still go for the CT5 V BW. Not only is it cheaper but it's also quicker around some of the tracks. Assuming tracking the cars is your main priority. If you are looking at it being a year round car up north get some winter tires. If you don't want winter tires highly suggest getting the M5CS.
The Carbon Buckets on the CT5V Blackwing are beatiful.

I hope the car manufactures don't understand what's behind the push for EV's (if they are in on it, that would be more depressing). The electric grid in the US would need a complete overhaul if the current 4% of EV's goes to just 15%. The environmental push is a rouse. It's about money, and power (as usual). The elite may want their cars to be electric, but they want the middle class / poor to be on public transportation. You're easier to control if you can't afford your own transportation. Same goes for housing. Remember what Klaus Schwab of the WEF says - "You will own nothing, and be happy"

Blackwing offers a manual, LSD, 6 piston Brembos, more of a driver's car. It's quite a few seconds faster around VIR from Car & Driver's Lightening Lap.
I owned a 4 for about 5 months & ended-up swapping for a 5. There are days where I miss the Tremec manual & dove gray interior on that 4; very nimble feel to the car. I also miss the lower payment on the 4. 😁 Where the 5 is more enjoyable really comes down to the LT4 V8 … the raw power & exhaust note. Overall, the 5 feels more substantial & slightly quicker, but that’s also due to having gone from a manual to auto.

I don't see how ev cars will fair out. There's a lot not being said on the backend and other issues that has been ignored to whereas an ev powered car is good for long term reliability, cost of very expensive batteries and a possible shortage of mining the raw materials to make the battery. Very, overly priced for averaged Joe and Jane's to afford when barely salaries can't cover basic living cost. I see EV's failing car companies in the long run when they can't sell them affordable to own and two a very aging power grid to keep pace of possible demands of electricity. Of course WE the consumer will pay for it whether we buy them or not.
Comparing a CT4-V Blackwing to a Mercedes CLA 45 is a bad comparison. This is better than a C 43 AMG. The true comparison for this is a C63 AMG
