- Here is all the lore and hidden secrets I discovered while playing through the Twilight of the Gods Master quest, as well as a discussion on future implications. I've realised this quest appears to be like marmite, where some hate it, yet others love it. I only ask that you respect my opinion and don't crucify me for thinking this quest is one of the best released in recent times... Anyway, what do my fellow lorehounds think? :D

They said on a livestream starting with Monday's update there are going to be demons randomly appearing in various cities like Varrock and Falador and they will continue until the boss release and end maybe a week or two after the boss is being released. So your wishes for game-wide interaction with what's actually happening are going to come true!
As a side note also, I got my Master Quest Cape yesterday and your guides were a massive help with the long and hard requirements so keep up the good work!!

I would argue that details like this are the most necessary for the future of the lore. How else will the whole "self-determination of mortals" thing mean anything if it isn't believably threatened?
Hell. If ingame inflation is anything like lore inflation, I doubt that 1m would be enough to solve Lumbridge's struggles. But it's not like the duke is going to say that out loud.
all this to say i'm going to be disappointed if this famine isn't at least "pretty bad"

Absolutely agree with your comment here. It will be slightly out of touch with players’ finances if Lumbridge’s struggles cost 1m. Whilst I understand for an adventurer to be fairly rich, it seems a little unbelievable for them to be rich enough to fund an entire town’s problems. More so when some items cost literally hundreds of millions 😂.
