I would love to see a hair cutting video that would show how to go from say Amanda’s length, to your length..just how to take off length. And how to volumize the crown area in those with thin hair. I have great curls at the bottom, but I’m thin on the top and unfortunately, I’m unable to go get a proper hair cut even if I had a curly stylist near me. I need a good curly hair cut! I love all the hair cut videos. I just wish I knew what was best for my situation! I wish you could give private hair cut consults and tell us what to do like you did with Amanda.

I seriously FCKD my hair up last year when I trimmed it - twice - with dull ass scissors. I was at work, bored, and needed a trim. So I used the pair at my desk & got to work (been cutting my own hair for almost 20 years). 3 or 4 weeks later I saw a ton of split ends. I was baffled, but trimmed again. Mid trim, I was looking extra closely, and as I snipped a lock of hair, I literally watched the ends fray IN REAL TIME! I was horrified! I immediately went to amazon & bought cutting shears and now everything is much, much better
Finally someone talks about how hair gets curlier during the week... I always felt like I'm the only one and maybe my hair is taking 2 days to dry 😅

I wear them to the side, feather layered. I used to trim them in between hair cuts, but with the pandemic they've gotten really long and I've forgotten how to. I don't want to make a hot mess of them

I know this is an older video but . . . THANK YOU! I'm more of a Purple Pat (I have a mixture of wavy and curly hair, but the outer layer (including bangs) are probably the straightest locks I have. Your showing me how to cut bangs is a Godsend as I feel I don't have a forehead, I have a fivehead. Heh. I appreciate this tutorial so much.
I just cut my own curly bangs like 2-3 weeks ago, and I started thin and wispy for a few days before deciding to make them thicker, and I’m really happy with the results, my bangs end right before hitting my glasses so it’s perfect. Now I just have to figure out the best way to style them and get used to styling them.

I'm so glad I came across this, thank you! I went to devacurl salon and the lady, accidentally, blurted out to me "oh you have a really short forehead" which then made me not want to get bangs. I paired the bangs with the pigtails haircut and I absolutely LOVE IT! I know, summer bangs, sketchy, but I live along the coast and I usually have to tie my hair back at work to see what I’m doing. I’m so glad I stumbled across this video! As a wavy with a convex side profile (I learned that from your choosing the right haircut video) I’ve often struggled with bangs. I love having them but they grow out so quick and I haven’t really known the right way to style and maintain them. Not only was I able to successfully cut my bangs by following your instructions, I was also able to blow dry them nicely using the Denman brush. Genius! So much better than using a round brush. And the best thing is that you could even guide me on how to navigate and accomodate for my cow lick (which strongly favours a side part). I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you ❤

Absolutely love my curtain bangs! I have slightly longer ones, they start just below my eyes and go down my cheekbones. I find they help my 5head not look so prominent 😂 my 16 month old naturally has perfect wispy curtain bangs 🥰

Just gave my bangs today, cut them little by little aka kept them really long and then slowly shrank them. Mostly point cutting to get the look I wanted no blunt cutting. I really learned a lot on your video.

You didn’t just inspire me to get bangs, 2 of my friends want them too. Together we have a wavy, a curly, & a curly/coily. I had mind done in a salon & I’m not too thrilled, but you showed me how to fix them & thankfully my hair grows fast. I just wanted to let my hair settle after such a big cut. Going in this week! 💇🏻♀️ While I’m annoyed they’re too short, I can let it go. This was a gigantic change, not just bangs & I haven’t styled my bangs curly before. In 9 years, this is the first miss. Give my hair a month & it will be good. Plus, all of my friends think I’m a natural redhead thanks to her skill with color. 🤐

I got curtain bangs this past week. The stylist styles them straight and they they are around eye/cheek bone length. Now I'm nervous that I wont be able to wear them curly. I wear my hair natural most of the time or have braid waves.

Would you do a video of different types of bangs for curly hair? My bangs are kinda like the mannequin with wavy hair but I have a strong cowlick that results in a natural side part.
I've always had bangs by cutting the "bigger" part of the bangs shorter because if I grow it out, the strand of hair tends to curl towards my face and it's annoying having hair on your eyes.
