It's been a while, but I'm back with a new video! During this quarantine, I decided to give myself my own haircut because if not now, when? I felt like it was time for a change and gave myself bangs. I have curly hair (2C, 3A, 3B curls) and wanted to give the fringe look a try! This video isn't so much as a tutorial, but rather a journey of how I worked up the courage to doing it đ

Same I cut mine with some broke ass scissors and it was the most uneven then it dried and no one gotta know

Listen, everyone is always going to have something negative to say about what you want to do in life. If you think you can pull it off, GO FOR IT. I had several people tell me not to do it and I loved it in the end. As for your curl pattern, everybody has different textures. My hair ranges (depending on the products applied) from 2C to 3B because I have some wavy textures and pieces that spiral & my roots are almost always wavy, not curly. You got this, love!

I cut my own bangs this weekend. I haven't been to a hairdresser in like 6 years. Been cutting my own hair all that time. I've never had bangs before and I love it. It turned out really well. My hair is thick, red and dry at times and hard to style, but I'm loving my new bangs right now.

Idk if you found a nice way to style it yet but I would recommend a high pony with long strands next to the bangs and some soft girl makeup that should be cute

You can do it! Just be sure to start by cutting them longer and let them dry before trimming any more. You can always go shorter but once you make the cut, that's what you've got.

i cut my own bangs a couple of days ago but my sister doesnt like dem watsoever and same goes with my mom but she didnt tell me if she did or not. She said i looked like a poodle- chile now im trying to blend them in with the rest of my hair :D life is great

i have wanted to cut my bangs forever but haven't thought about it for awhile, until today. to put off homework, i pulled out a pair of scissors, and as i was perusing through tutorials i finally got the courage to make the first snip while watching this video. despite it being TOTALLY done on impulse, they turned out pretty well!! lol i am relieved and maybe i'll regret it in a few weeks but oh well đ thanks for the fun vid!!

my hair is 3a and 3b underneath but the front is wavy? sometimes i can make the front curl in big curling wand looking curls but its terrible for bangs yet i keep cutting long wispy curtain bangs and now theyre up to my cheekbonesđ so im framing them with longer ones down to my chin fuck it looks so baddd
Did you recently wash your hair and have it dry before cutting it or was it like after a couple of days after washing because my curls are like yours and they change after each day I donât wash??

My curl type is similar to yours and I've always said I could never pull off these bangs but I like how they look on you
tbh i think u got 2c/3a curls cz i got myself 3a/3b hair and they curlier than yours and I doubt I have 3b/3c so yeah and i like the results
Thank you! Depending on the products I use my curl pattern changes. With this wash, I used Not Your Mother's Curl Talk and find that my curls can lay sorta flat and come out more wavy than anything.

an anyone tell me should I cut my bangs or not ..... I have wavy hairs too with round face
I really want to do it too and my hair used to be more like her range. But I've damaged it so bad idk how much it would shrink with the dead ends off, and I have a round/heart type combo but everyone tries to claim it's just round but I just gained weight... and the whole side part stuff people always recommend for round faces looks weird on me and I don't want sideswept bangs like people recommend bc I don't think it will look right

yoooooo turned out sooo well. everyone i know said i might regret cutting it but it finally turned out great I loved it!! If you think you will look good with bangs just try it out especially during quarantine you might have time to grow it back even if you think you messed up
