I love a hairdresser who is honest and tells me their opinion. Like if I'm coming in there smack dab in the middle of a mental break down with literally the worst idea ever for my hair, I want my hairdresser to tell me "girl you crazy, you can not do that to yourself" and give me a better suggestion instead. None of this just doing it for the money nonsense.

Stina yea but you have to understand that when some hairdressers do that, the client could get offended or upset. Imagine going in wanting bangs and your hairdresser says it’s a terrible idea and you walk out with a hairstyle you didn’t even want.

Maybe we could try this for you instead because *insert legit reason here* but if you're not up for it and still wanna go with your original plan we can absolutely do that"

Edit: This may sound kind of dumb but honestly, getting my bangs was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. I got them when I was 14 and back then I definitely didn’t know how to style them and over the years I’ve watched videos on how to style them and cut them and now I feel so confident with them. Even when I didn’t know how to style and I would just cut them straight across, I felt really good and I felt really cute with them

I used to hate my round face a lot until I went to japan and got a haircut, the hairstylist decided what to do for me and he went for side bangs, I was impressed with how good it looked and I realized why so many Japanese girls have those kind of bangs, Japanese girls tend to have round face and it works wonders

I just got short baby choppy bangs last week for the first time in like 20 years and I love it so much! Also ladies, don’t forget you can wash just your bangs in the sink without washing the rest of your hair. Using dry shampoo and brushing them with a clean toothbrush is a lifesaver too! I’m in NJ and it’s damn cold here already and I’m already having to wear beanies all the time so the above mentioned tips will help when they get gross from wearing the beanies. #banggang

I would seriously drive across the world for you to do my hair! I've never had a great experience getting my hair cut and/or colored. My last one was so bad I cried all the way home which was over 30 min straight! Its terrible. I can't find anyone to do hair well for some reason! Bucket List Number 1- Get hair done by Brad Mondo! I am 54 years old and I have never been able to get the right bangs. If I get my hair layered it works, but if I want long hair with bangs, it doesn't. After watching this video, now I know why: I have always tried to cut for my round face. My forehead however, is the top part of a heart shape. Now I know to combine the techniques of heart shaped and round face for the best bangs for me. Thank you ❤️
