  • My derealization and depersonalisation has stopped getting worse. I can't quite believe it but this was such a realisation to go through. Life has been really stressful lately and to realise that I can bounce back from that quite quickly is just incredible. Years ago stress and anxiety would just keep making me worse and the downward spiral would keep going and now to realise my resilience is building, I'm just so grateful.

Hi Dom!! 😊 your video was so enjoyable to watch. I’m SO happy to see your progress, resilience, and your joyful self. I actually have been doing wim hoff on and off for a couple years (I haven’t done it in about 4-6 months though just because i went through a lot of changes and life got really busy) i started with the breathing first and the cold showers came way later. I loved the breathing. It IMMEDIATELY calms my racing thoughts. As for the showers, I was able to get up to about 1.5-2 minutes in an ice cold shower. The challenge is to be able to calm your breathing down and relax your muscles before being done. It took a while but I finally mastered it and the benefits are definitely there. It clears the brain fog, gives me energy, and calms my nervous system. I need to start doing it again!! I think it can definitely become a preventative method rather than waiting until youre having an episode. You’ve inspired me to start running again. I use to run 3 miles every day but I stopped because of lack of motivation. The feeling I get after running is incredible. I feel on top of the world! Thanks for reminding us about self care ideas and how fun and easy it is to enjoy the little things..that’s where my heart is at! ❤️ you’re amazing!!

Holly! Thank you so much for your amazing comment!!! I might look in to the breathing some more then you’ve got me inspired!! I love running it’s taken me a while to build back up again but just start slowly and you’ll get back to where you want to be in no time! You’ll have to keep me posted how you get on 🥰 thank you so much for the support. You’re just wonderful 😃
