Knappers, I can honestly say you have a far better understanding of Ipswich Town - technically, historically, culturally, financially, statistically - than the vast majority of Championship experts and 100% of the mainstream media (well obvs!). Thanks for your kind words, Knappers. Ipswich Town fans had to endure years of dross before the arrival of the new owners. Appointing McKenna had an element of risk because of his relative inexperience and the size of the club but it paid off. Ipswich is a club that has tended to punch above its weight when it has a good manager at the helm. There were supporters of other clubs who thought Ipswich would "get found out", but they've gone quiet. No club wins a trophy or earns a promotion solely due to luck. Occasionally there will be an element of luck in a single game, such as a strange deflection but that doesn't happen often.
Absolute pleasure mate. Risks are there to be made I’m glad you did it! What a way to end an incredible 2 years and I’m sure it’s not over yet!!
For the record, McKenna is the same age as Jamie Vardy. at 37 yrs old.... He's got time om his side in management. He should be in no rush to move on, just yet.... Cheers for the kind words on Ipswich, its been an unbelievable journey, so far, under Ashton and KM. Weirdly, it still feels like baby steps, as to what the club could achieve in the next 5 to 10 seasons....
Absolutely, I’m a believer in, why go for money now? His stock is high, probably 7-8th in English Football with Klopp, Pep, Emery, Arteta etc, he’s a legend at your club, and will be given time next season IF you lose 4-5 on the bounce etc, and if you come down you will stick by him, I hope… so for me stay loyal!

@@CodsVlogs , as a side note. Keep your eye on Omari Hutchinson.. We'll do well to loan him again next season. But imo, he's got what it takes to go to the very, very top.. Special talent, with a great attitude and work rate on top of everything else.... Oh yeah, and that bloomin last minute Fleetwood goal at PR last season, still gives me nightmares,lol.

Massimo may have been our best signing this millennium. The teams that let him go must have lost the plot. Also Big Game Wes haa basically got us promoted, in my top 5 over the past 38 years
Massimo has become a better player under McKenna, he was always decent but found his home at Ipswich...Giving away international call ups to dedicate himself to the club shows his total commitment to the club. He deserves this success.

Missed you this season. Informative and balanced video as always. Now going to subscribe 😁 "Paul Cook got potted!" 🤣🤣 Our problem will be recruiting players who will put in the miles. KMcK won't put up with players flouncing about the place. Players like Matty Holland, Jim Magilton, Sam Morsey, someone will to give 100%, box to box. The high press will be interesting. Will better players be able to burn us out? Or will a Premiership back 3/4/5 not like it up 'em? We are better placed (as a business and on the pitch) than the 3 that went up last year. 17th or higher will be considered a success.

Derby one is coming! Just been super busy, 10 videos in 7 days is very tough, still not uploaded a Pompey one, and we covered Derby last week in depth on my live stream last week.
@CodsVlogs OK fair enough not being harsh on you I' just think alot of youtubers are very negative about derby when really no need to be I actually do like you I was just taken back abit when I saw Ipswich video

@CodsVlogs you actually have spoke well of derby I've been with derby in bad and good times it just seems that derby only get mentioned in bad times but fair play to you you have criticised us when deserved and praised us as well I'm not being horrible when I say this but your channel is excellent and I will continue to watch but if jake is on then I won't you obviously are very intelligent and honest other person isnt
