Thanks for continuing to comment on League One. Regarding Posh, we’ve lost two of our best players, Josh Knight to Hannover 96 and Ronnie Edwards to Southampton. Harrison Burrows will also probably go - to Sheffield Utd. We’ve retained most of last season’s team and have bought some interesting young players from the lower leagues. I wouldn’t mind us also taking a couple of young players from the Prem on loan. I think we are going to do well again this season and should aim for automatic promotion, as the play-offs are such a lottery. Whether we succeed will depend upon the unknown quantities that are the relegated and promoted teams. We’ll be testing one of these, Huddersfield, at home in our first game of the season. We beat them 3-0 in a play-off final at Old Trafford a number of years ago, so Huddersfield will be looking for revenge. Personally, I would like this season to be third time lucky and promotion for Posh, Bolton and Barnsley.
I came across Cods Vlogs when I was searching for Ipswich going up to the Premier league. I am not an Ipswich fan, or really a football fan but live in Ipswich so I was interested. I found Cods so knowledgeable when he was covering it that I subscribed and stayed around, he may make a football fan out of me yet :) I have been to two football matches, Man U vs Ipswich many years ago. And once to Woodbridge town, who really impressed me with the determination and getting stuck in ;)
You too mate. I do watch a lot of the content and have enjoyed your reviews when Fleetwood have played Barnsley. There's lots of positives in what you are doing. You're doing a good job. Just stating my opinion. Just think it's too much of a love in with Bolton

Great you are still doing L1 Knappers. Well worth a mention is signing an assistant coach Stephen Crainey from Wigan for Bolton Wanderers, yes you mentioned Wigan losing Crainey to us but for me it's a clever signing.

Even though Birmingham have a MASSIVE budget i have a feeling might take atleast 2 seasons get back into the champ. I dont think they'll go up this season. I also think L1 is really interesting this season and i reckon there could be 1 or 2 dark horses. Im predicting a mid table team from last season might so really well

Lancashire bias as usual. All the clubs in that region are 'massive clubs' in your opinion. Very patronising towards Barnsley. They are just a 'good club'. It's a club with a great history that should be playing at a higher level. Most points won and most goals scored in the 2nd division. Overlooked again. Needs to be more objectivity from you.
Barnsley are a good club, and no bias at all, so you think clubs closer to FTFC, who some are rivals odd I want to call that? I’ve always been fair on Barnsley, when ever you’ve been us been honest and said how much I like Oakwell, my actual fave ground in LG1! However I’m now judging on in 2024. If we looked at the last 20 years 7-8 clubs wouldn’t be where they are!
It's just when you say Stockport are a big football club and their gates are always mentioned. But when it's Barnsley there's a different spin. They don't get big crowds. It's a disenfranchised fanbase that has been treat badly in recent years. Potential is there though
@alexgreen1370 I get what your saying! Again sorry if it’s upset you, I’m a Fleetwood fan! We get 2K most weeks! I can’t talk! Doesn’t matter on fan size, I think Barnsley are a great club and have always thought that. I wish you well
