The inspire body lift bl1 which i have and is more like training with machines / cable, since you dont need to buy weights for it it will cost alot less than this setup. Im very happy with it. Just something to look into as an alternative.

Marcy either does or used to make one too.
Do stand alone or bolt to the wall high low pulleys fit in your low ceiling situation?
With these all in one machines they always try to claim some exercises, to get a high number, that are at best dubious.
Often the answer is a mix of equipment as in some dumbbells, a barbell which you may use as a landmine as well as the supposed all in one machine, maybe a trap bar and even bodyweight exercises.
This is rather obvious but people get locked into camps and all or nothing thinking often.
There seems to be a lack of creative thinking and willingness to experiment out there.
It's sort of nice that one leverage machine doesn't have the high pulley as it worked out for your situation.
I have often been able to set up a pieced together high pulley and been satisfied with that,
    so that is one option.
I used static climbing rope and matching pulleys designed for same from an outdoors store rather than metal cable.
Sometimes I've done this in a separate location like outside, a garage or shed with exposed structural elements...but they make strong anchors for hanging rings or TRX and so on on finished ceilings...
Sometimes a low pulley can be added or not but I care less about that...
your heavy machine could be an anchor for a low pulley coming off of a high pulley mounted to ceiling...with say a motorcycle tie down straps, loop to connect the low pulley to your machine...perhaps...
Or make do as is or with big elastic straps?...
Often there are ways to fill in the gaps...

Nice review, Mike. How wide is the WT80 from bar tip to bar tip? The specs says width 114 cm, but that doesn't look right. Happy New Year and thanks!!

      Check out their website www.tunturi.com/en/leverage-gym-wt80.html
I’m not sure myself, I bought it while in Europe. If not, there are others like it that would be just as good per reviews. I recommend the machine if you can get it. Good luck!

@@srbishkrstI originally wanted to buy the WT85, but couldn’t due to its height. I had a low ceiling at that time. It looked like a better model than the WT80. However, there could be some issues with it being a cable system opposed to just a leverage mechanism. Meaning, there could be issues with limited weight you could pull with it. But it’s usually not that much weight being pulled with those exercises, like the curl, tricep pulls, or lateral pull down. I like the WT80, it’s easy to put together and low maintenance.

Im 6’2, do you think I will be confortable to do squat with this machine ?

    • @davidmeaker
      @davidmeaker  Před 6 měsíci

I’m 5‘8 and it’s awkward me to do squats. You have to start in the down position, which makes it awkward. This equipment is not the best for leg exercises in my personal opinion. All other exercises are good. Best of luck.
