to the two shaina madels, i am israeli, i was adopted by shraga feivel ,an american ashkenaz jew , i look totally sephardic, so people dont understand when i speak of potatoe kigel ,lackshan kigel ,kishka , gefilta fish with real horse radish ,and matzo ball chicken soup , raisin challa ,and kompot , that to me is a shabbos meal . or yomim tovim meal . i thank you for speaking in yidish , it reminds me of going to shul davening with the ashkazi tefilot and zemiros at the table . i am back in israel ,my father is long gone , but you brought the memories flooding back . gut shabbos every shabbos ,till mashiach ben david comes .

so i have seen the final result, and tasted it , i am, as a profession a cook thinking truly as a person who wants to cut down or avoid fleish ,i will be in heaven after shabbos shacharit since your chulent stand out by itself , if you must have meat put marrow bones on the bottom ,add some cubes of sealed chuck (chingolo in sefaradic ,file medumeh in hebrew), and this will be a great version of chulent for the carnivore . but it is totally unnecessary ,as you are getting a nutricious chulent on its own . i plotzed after the meal did not miss the fat.

dont be such a putz , to each his her own ,but if you were a real maven in cooking ,you would use their recipe and add your meats to that , if its delicious already vegetarian ,imagine it plus brisket or chuck ,and kishka
