Yiddish is a very interesting language. Most words are similar to standard german, but some are closer to regional german dialects. For exampe mushroom is shvemerl, similar to bavarian "Schwammerl", but unlike standard german ("Pilze").

During lunch time in the early 1960's Ruby the KNISH man would work the northern corner of Rockaway Parkway and Rutland Road in Brooklyn's Brownsville. Enjoy the interactive map at www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1cL8gO_EsSvYjQOS9-EyRy_dZF_Q

What is going on with the translation? Ridiculous, senseless words over the real translation. Is this a joke, and an insult to the readers? Someone please fix this!!!!
