So I watched it last night and for some reason the LFE wasn't loud like I expected from this video. 4K disc and I have a monolith 10" that can get loud. Not sure what the deal was.. still a great movie.

Hmmm… how do you have sub set up?

It's about 3-4 feet away from the front right corner. 80hz crossover. Phase 0. I also have a mini dsp setup and have a house curve setup I'm happy with. It gets loud with movies like Blade Runner 2049, top gun maverick. Any scene that has good LFE. I got hardly anything from The Abyss 4K disc.
