  • I drive the Porsche 991.2 Carrera 4s and see if more turbo lag plus 4wd equals more fun. My answer might just surprise you!

Enjoyed the review. I drove both the base and S model before ordering a base 2017 Carrera. Decided to go with style over performance and spend the extra money on options like full leather interior. Plenty of power for my needs. Thanks.

Keep the revs up and no lag.

I just watched your excellent review of the base 991.2. Seeing you driving this 4S, looks like your driving the base model I recently bought... White with S-Wheels. I've already bought the Fabspeed Center Muffler Delete X-pipe and am planning on doing an ECU Tune. I expect to have more power and torque than an S model, with quicker throttle response. Hoping for no warranty issues at the dealership. Because the price increase for choosing an S is substantial, I think getting the C2 then installing these 2 fairly affordable upgrades offers a lot of performance value for dollar.

Best thing to do is buy a base Carrera 4 and just do an ECU remap to about 480-500bhp...
That way you have more power than the 4s the same grip but a more responsive engine, plus you save a lot of money on the initial purchase :)
I have owned several Porsches and that's my honest opinion...

after the ecu remap to 480-500, fuel consumption increased..?

@@Pvilotic Better consumption overall, but when you really floor it it's worse...

@@Pvilotic will the engine life be shorter after ECU remap?

Great reviews. I just picked up a 2018 Carrera T in manual. You ought to have more subscribers. Maybe consider rebranding your channel to something that is more automotive-enthusiast related so it appeals to more viewers.

Glad you enjoyed it! Why2k is a brand for 80s, 90s and 2000s cars I created. However, I decided to review a newer Porsche just for fun. I've had the chance to drive a manual Carrera T and it's a very connected experience! Enjoy in Good Health!
