    If you want to access the fuse box or the 12 V battery, you need to remove the Frunk cooler box. All you need to do is remove the trim and remove all the screws which hold the cooler down. Make sure you do not mix up the screws inside the frunk. When I installed it back again, I mixed up the screws and 1 was then too long what ended up in a broken bolt.

    35Ah is a rather small battery, hope the Mach-E can top it up whenever needed, when car is off (as dashcams are getting increasingly popular).

      Hallo Ben,

      Sowie auf routen brauchts of 10 min länger wie google.
      Fordpass würde schon passen wenn es funktionieren würde
      Speziel paak. Und auch die verbindung mit dem audio bricht ständig ab wenn paak aktiv ist.

    • @BentheEVguy
      @BentheEVguy  Před 9 měsíci

      Get it fixed. The ac might be part of the battery cooling. If it's out, it's an issue. You could try a different Ford dealer or 3rd party ev repair shops. We have some where I am at.

    I was really impressed the GTs and I guess 22 models will have electronic frunk release including a frunk release in the middle. Having to open the door and then pull the frunk release makes the frunk completely useless for most applications.

    • @BentheEVguy
      @BentheEVguy  Před 2 lety

      Maybe not useless, but inconvenient

    • @1Jbeats
      @1Jbeats Před 2 lety

      This is incorrect. The 2021 is being updated right now with electronic frunk opening with the FordPass app, and once that update is received you can unlock the frunk with the door keypad in addition to the app.
