Gay romance? Seriously? The friendship of Varadha & Deva was really well captured from the start, and here he is calling it something like this. The person who reviewed Animal, Jawan, Pathaan as good comebacks for him is now complaining more about a few things than giving insights about the good & bad in this kind of storytelling. I agree about Shruti Hassan's dialogue delivery, and her performance was kind of irritating, along with some buildup in the child portion. But I doubt that people who loved the screenplay of KGF will have a problem with the film. Neel's films are meant for repetitive watching. He keeps a lot of details & hidden details in each scene. Prithviraj's acting was really, really good; didn't see any praise for his performance. People who review genuinely or want to be genuine in reviewing movies should approach the films unbiasedly. Wish to see unbiased reviews whether for his favorite actors or others.

A much better outcome than KGF 2. Khansar’s political set-up was the game changer for me. Neel is ultimately able to execute the outlandish lore with brilliant on-screen entertainment. The first half was weak as it was constantly reminding me of ‘Ugramm’ and I wanted Prithviraj to appear more. Overall, a decent watch.

The mother's reaction and anger is a manifestation of Deva's doings that take place 7 years ago and will be explored in detail in part 2. Shruthi's character could have been written better though and I feel she was playing the role of the audience if that makes sense. The first half was purposely kept short at 1hr13mins while the second half felt like a movie on its own. A second watch in my opinion really does answer more questions and gives a lot more clarity. I'm not a big Prabhas fan, but I love how Neel projected this dinosaur. The loud music in Khansaar adds to its evil vibe. Making it an important character.
Neel didn't take big risks with the movie. He knows that if you reveal a lot in one go, especially in the second half, people will come back to catch details and understand the story better. It felt like watching a season of Game of Thrones in three hours. Could it be better? Yes. Is it the best movie of 2023? No. But it's still a fun time at the movies. Salaar had great drama, cinematography and sets but the choice to use same technique to build up the character again and again and same type of action every time is now annoying. It worked in KGF 1 but now it is getting repetitive. Prashant Neel need to rethink some choices for Salaar 2 specially in action(hire some Hollywood action director)and loud character and music.

Whilst I think that the first half has moments where it was quite boring. I still didn't mind it. It felt so good to see Prabhas in his element. I wonder if we have to think of Salaar as two combined movies rather than just a stand alone movie. I felt the same way about Salaar as I did about Bahubali where the first part just felt like a 3hr prologue. And that was worth it cos I loved the second movie. There are times where you have to sacrifice parts of the movie to set up future instalments.
And god was Shruti Hassan annoying in this movie.

Boom 💥 💥 💥 a must watch film that came out towards the end of this year but will go down as one of the best films of this year. The film had a theme very similar to that of KGF. When watching this film I felt and was able to make comparisons of the different scenes of the film with KGF. The film had a very slow run rate and was also quite dark themed as well. The film is well written and executed. But overall the film has a great story, great dialogues, action scenes and cinematography. The film dialogue of this film that really caught my attention was “Shikari ko Shikar namilne par dukh nehi hota, shikar nakarne par dukh hota hai” a very thought provoking dialogue in my opinion well written and executed. There were moments where you would want to scream, shout and blow a whistle thats how good and provoking the action scenes of this film were. What a film and movie experience this was. Please do watch this film.

Leo is lokesh's weakest work, rajini slow mo and anirudh literally made jailer a blockbuster and varisu is a bad cocktail of all telugu movies ever. You are a web novel writer, not everything has to be written for series, not at this scale or budget especially when A listers in India don't do series, especially from south.
