Meenakshi Jain's scholarship is absolutely astounding. Her books are overturning long established wrongly-held notions in many areas of Indian culture and civilization. It is a shame that mediocre intellectuals and historians like irfan habib, romila thapar etc have suppressed such outstanding scholars. RM's talk series is making people aware of this strain of outstanding scholarship & scholars that are there in India. Hopefully Indian institutions will soon have such people at the helm as compared to the terrible folks who have been in charge in the past 7 decades!!

Certainly Madam"s approach is admirable....but the question is why Jains are so much interested and enthusiastic for Hindu Temples... In fact Jains have broken away from Hindus and taken a minority status.... also they deny being hindus or having hindu ancestry...also there are many controversies ...in which jains have claimed Hindu temples....e.g. Jains have been claiming Girnar temple as jain Temples ...there are many more

I think this sati bill was a big hoax by missionaries to defame Hindus. This is because this is always used by missionaries in their all arguments against Hinduism.
Can any one give any factual account how many sati case were reported in 100 years of British rule in India?
So that Britishers had to ban this by rule. If this was practiced in any of the viewers family please let me know. Because my grand father never talked about this practice in India or in any society except the kshatriya sainik who killed in war during mughal era. Because they used to capture girls as sex slaves

Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and recent Lingayat all are the branch of Sanatana Dharma . If we go to Japan we will see Saraswati worship and Yajna happening. Because Buddhist branch of Sanatana culture worship goddess Tara, Saraswati, Matangi etc . Vajrayana Buddhism is based on tantric tradition of Shaktism or Devi worship of Sanatana Dharma

Absolutely shocking revelations. Excellent video. Thank you Rajivji for broadcasting the truths surrounding the Ayodya dispute. When I visited the Janmasthan, I had the privilege of having the Darshan of Bhagwan Shri Ram. What literally shocked me was the pillars in side the small dome which had images of Hanuman and other Hindu symbols. Thank you Meenakshyji for taking up this task of unearthing our true history.

Another excellent episode Mr. Malhotra. Good to see the likes of Meenakshi Jain In the ICHR. I have to make a comment though. Your point about the lack of rigor and scholarship in those trying to counter the Marxist or western narratives is very well taken. As necessary as your brutal criticism is, presenting the context, in the same breath, is important as well I think.
The scholars in India with the so-called 'left wing' persuasions not only had a complete stranglehold on their home turf, they also found a mountain of scholarship and collaborators in the west to bolster their work and reputation. Those who opposed them met with hostility and censure on the home turf, and complete indifference and contempt from their international peers. Mrs. Jain's Wikipedia page is an instructive example.
The right wing in the US, on the other hand finds no shortage of collaborators all over the western world. They also get patronage from the government and from the predominantly center-right establishment, which even prop up economically unviable and socially unpopular institutions. The Indian 'right' received no political or economic patronage for decades. The politicians and the institutions were a warped version of the western left-wing, and consequently the establishment also learned to lean towards the center-left (Narayan Murthy is a good example).
In a developing country like India where one cannot be ambivalent about the security of their basic sustenance, one tends to learn to bend ideologically. This is why, Irfan Habib and co. didn't need to work hard to stomp out any resistance. A resistance, with minor exceptions, never coalesced. With a playing field so skewed, a dominant narrative so out of balance, it's not hard to see why the home team for decades could never even organize a metaphorical 10-man parade.
Obviously, none of this is news to you. My point is, the right wing in India needs some encouragement as much as it needs a swift kick on their ass to stop talking about nuclear bombs and planes in the Mahabharata. You deliver both, but the good cop in your good-cop-bad-cop routine/message is a little mellow in comparison to his peer (think Colmes, from the Hannity and Colmes duo). Before the right wing can become a potent movement, it needs to be able to shrug off all the mischaracterizations (some justified, most not) that they have been encouraged by the other side to internalize. A little more nuanced judgement, a little more encouragement from you would go a long way in supporting those in our camp, and, more importantly, in the intellectual metamorphosis of those on the fence whom you are essentially preaching to.

What an eye opener . Many thanks to both of you Rajiv ji and Meenakshi ji to bring out such a wonderful insight to Hindu minds and left's hegemony upon educational institutions. I don't know what Vajpayee ji and Advani ji were doing during their tenure? I think Hindus, getting away from their roots, could be the reason for their becoming enfeebled. Nehru and Indira Gandhi have destroyed the Hindu minds very cleverly. It seems we have not only to build a Hindu infrastructure but also to fight with our own people, who share the same names and surnames as ours. Difficult but not impossible. We need the govt on our side though..

Meenakshi and Rajiv, thanks for setting the record straight. It takes years of reading Indian history from the outside to eventually figure out that what we learned in school in the 70s was not history but a concocted version with a strong bias to dim the view of India and Hindus. Most Indians do not know any better that we have been subjected to soft terrorism for hundreds of years and more so since 1947!!

From all accounts, it is amply clear that, Irfan Habib was not a secular leftist/marxist scholar or intellectual. He was rather a "Muslim first' intellectual, who used his leftism and misused his position of clout in the academia, to whitewash the gory history of Islamic era of atrocities , on Hindu people. R.C. Mazumdar and Jadunath Sarkar were real scholars and researchers free from biases and prejudices. The same cannot be said of Irfan Habib. So many skeletons are now tumbling out of the cupboards of Irfan Habib and company. Even when their bluff is out, they try to kill truth by brazen falsehoods, conspiracy of silence and other such diversionary tactics. How shameful of them to brazenly make false allegation of theft of inscriptions from Lucknow museum? Even When their false theory was exposed , they tenaciously stick to their mischievous theory. Shameful...
"Returning awards" was another gimmick of theirs, which has boomeranged on them. In this context, Works of Sita Ram Goel too are valuable as counter-literature, Sitaram Goel's works are based on extensive research. His works should be republished and publicised. The burden of delivering Indian History from the sinister leftist stranglehold lies on the serious scholars. Average layman is not expected to have the deep knowledge or insight to effectively and credibly refute the falsehoods perpetrated by Leftists. Dedicated scholars ready to mine truth from original sources are needed to work. And their work needs to be disseminated for common folk on a larger scale . Works of Dr Malhotra, Nagaswamy, Meenakshi Jain and SitaRam Goel are hardly known to average intellectuals or among the main stream media guys.

They feel that they can counter this Grand Left narrative without doing any extensive research. They see few CZcams videos. For example your videos and not even all videos and then they say that they know everything. I feel your videos should be an inspiration for our generation to study and research more. I have been studying for so long but still i feel that im not ready even for battles of Debates and they think that they can demolish them. If we call them as a Enemy then i must say that these people are not aware of how strong and big these people are whom they want to fight. So usually when they come in the battle they are defeated so badly that they never come back again.

Though I am tiny before Meenakshi Mam, however, I may only add that almost entirety of the explanations and commentaries offered by Romila Ji on Mahabharata and Ramayana are childish. Having read some of her essays on Mahabharata, I have been able to locate countless mistakes in her totally feeble understanding. No quotations, no logical rebuttals to claims of Vyasa (by the way, there can't be any), no reference to any Sanskrit commentary on Mahabharata, no corroboration with allied vedic or agamaic literature.... I mean, one can go on and on to enlist the weaknesses of Mrs. Thapar's essays. I wonder if such people can even be inducted into PhD programs, let alone rise to become professors. And Irfan Habib!!! Less is said, the better. If any one person is responsible for anti-Hindu tirade in history schools of universities, then, it's got to be this man. Highly politically connected with congress party, he has done an absolute dis-service to the very profession he claims to pontificate upon. These idiots, as any wise person would like to call them having read their ridiculous and wrong literature, can even sell the soil of the nation to safe-guard their secessionist thoughts.

Learning our culture is the need of the hour.

Dear it is easy to be comprehensive, when you don't have too much to handle. They only have agenda to oppose, hence can be very comprehensive. But the true events is diverse and need time and space to gather evidence and present with sources.

Whenever Hindu kings faught with each other, the winner king used to take away KULDEVATA or popular Deity of thd defeated king ( with full honour) and do it's Pranpratishtha in his State.
Hindu kings did not destroy and loot temples they did not desicrate thd idols.
It was commonly perceived that thses deities are protectors of the kingdom and also kings derive power from these deities so the winner kings used to take away the idols.
Also loosing your Deity in the war was perceived as ultimate insult.

i appreciate the work and i agree that the new government hasnt done much except for promoting sanskrit "culturally" but i dont think we can underestimate the hard work done by swayamsevaks on ground....they are the ones who are basically getting rid of the caste equations in the villages and the forgotten corners of the country.....their discipline and patriotism is great but yeah they should also be trained in this as the intellectual battle also has to be faught....but a wide dismissal of these organizations wouldnt be the right thing to do

This Manthan (Meenakshi/Sandhya) is inherent in (almost) every family in India. As long as they are alive our civilization will be alive. The most infected state (tamilnadu) has produced / saved most treasure of our civilization. Out of this manthan comes out all Acharyas from South !!
We don't have to feel so bad (as become moronization) as it is the "degree of exposition" and karma place a role which side you see. Only karmically elevated sees both side clearly. This is time for those elevated person to join the action.

One has to really appreciate the relentless focus of Rajiv ji when it comes to denying the historic narratives, passed on to us by the various writers with leftist/Western PoV or scribes accompanying invading armies. It was evident when he corrected Ms. Jain: "...not Alexander the Great, Alexander the Greek". Indian history books should bestow greatness to Indian kings who spread dharma, built great temples, promoted sciences & mathematics, arts & literature etc. The great Gupta kings, Samudragupta, chandragupta; that valiant Chandragupta Maurya; Maha Rana Pratap; Sri Krishna Devaraya, chatrapati Shivaji....these were some of the greatest rulers under whose rule India prospered and dharma was protected. People enjoyed stability & prosperity. It is time to glorify them, write books, make movies, name cities/institutions/awards etc. That's what it takes to motivate and inspire the young generation, instill pride, build new India on Indian ethos, not some borrowed alien system.
