The quilts there a lots of work on them just beautiful. Some are worth alot of money. The one with the hole I'm sure some one could fix it. I learned to quilt and it's amazing. So much nice stuff. Any way still enjoy watching the fun you're having while working.
The eyes are for Halloween. You put them in the bushes, they usually blink. Cute!
you should always check that junk mail especially envelopes cuz you never know if there's any money in there before you toss it into the recycle bin
mix fabric softener and water, then spray that stuff with it and the feathers should fall off when you shake them
The best unit did bring the most money but it looked like a lot of work and it was packed and stacked and all that I do love any unit that is wrapped it shows signs of possible potential

20year old clothes are vintage... sheesh that makes half my wardrobe is vintage.. but heck im 60 so it does not surprise me one bit... hahahah
We always tease my mom (mind you I’m 57 lol) about how many clothes she has but she always wears the same clothes. One day we were looking at old pictures (about 20 years old) and she burst out laughing when she realized she was wearing the same top in the picture that she was wearing while she was looking at the picture lol
I rented a storage locker ( #2 first one in Connecticut, filled with antiques my Father in law left my kids ) new in St Charles IL , all my spring Flea market stuff. is going there. Thanks again I would not have attempted to this if I didn’t watch your awsome videos!!!
Big uptick in my area and I am on the other side of the country. Usually there are less than 50 within 100 miles and past few weeks there have been hundreds I haven't even looked at them all. My local company told me that in January they have 35 units up for auction and they normally have 2-5. 58:29

You betcha! I don't get to go to many live auctions any more, and they are way more exciting. They don't all allow us to film, but I appreciate when we can.

Always check the glass paperweights and make sure they arent "Murano" brand, it sells for good money. Murano usually polishes the bottom of the paper weights as well like the ones u found in this unit, those might not be murano but still are really nice ones.:) Merry Christmas!

People do different crafts with quilts that can’t be reused on a bed. Don’t over look the value in a wholly quilt.
Fun Fact: storage facilities are the only consumer business that is not consumer regulated, so they can increase the monthly cost at anytime. Thats why you see alot go to action. The price that they increase mine frome $180 a montht to $260 with minimal warning. I decided to move mine to another company that guarantees that my rate doesn't go up for a year with a signed contract. I now pay $87 a month for the same size as my old unit somewhere else.

I probably learned it same way, hearing my dad say it while going to the dumps. My dad, me and our dog in his pick up truck.
@@LockerNuts Gosh, it seems so strange to say but those dump runs to dump trash were really fun. We lived out on property at the time and we had NO services save for electricity. No phone the first year and a half we lived there. So, we threw away trash at the landfill. Boy, you'd see some interesting things get thrown away with BIG SIGNS saying no rummaging!
We had one of those toys that squeak when you shake it we called it scary Harry it had blue hair. I looked it up and I found a sold comp for $40

The round glass ball, I have a green ball. Had it for years. At one I also had one about the size of a volleyball. I was told the Japanese used as floats on their fishing boats.
The tall white salt and pepper shakers are vintage tupperware!!
Got a Sony beater radio CD player by my community dumpster and it works great as my garage music system.
Love that! It's not just a radio now... it's also a trophy. I love my storage finds so much more than items I buy, it makes them much more special to me.
You should save the empty ring boxes to use when someone wins a ring on your auctions.
Man they sure work hard for their money. Fun and a lot of work.

I take a bucket, fill it with water, put a big scoop of oxyclean in it, and then stuff a T-shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie in it that has organic stains, and leave if for a few days, then wash it. I've never failed to completely remove stains via this method. It works great on light-colored garments with sweat stains, even where the stains have been run through a washing machine with no effect. Plus, it is easy.

Yeah, not sure if it's me and my personal outlook, but seems like more an more we are seeing units that have been gone through before auction. Could be that the companies are letting tenants go in and pull items out; we saw that a lot coming out of the pandemic / lock down. But not sure why it would still be happening, but something feels off. Or maybe I'm being pessimistic, LOL. Would be great to have other locker buyers chime in regarding that, if they've experienced an uptick.

I have 2 of the vintage ceramic Chrismas trees with the separate base, one white and one green, had no clue they had value. My Mom made both. Thanks for the info. 😃

Each auctioneer has their own style. Some do the classic chant, some don't.

One more comment from a seasoned picker since I'm 64 been doing it a very long time I have found money in trash you need to check through that paperwork little more carefully before you throw it out I couldn't tell you how many $10 bills I found in birthday cards in someone's trash. I also found in the middle of clean underwear and socks someone was cleaning out the rest of someone's stuff and just put it out for the trash the pile drew me because it was Christmas stuff and I don't know why I just thought so I started looking at the nice clean socks and things and thought well I can at least donate them as I took the bag home started going through it there were three little jewelry boxes and one of them had 18 karat gold medallion ended up with $140 Just For The Medallion alone never discount laundry

Merry Christmas. Great small locker. The lockers are probably due to the cost of living increasing. Folks have to decide if to keep the roof over their heads and food on the table. You are probably right about owners picking the good stuff. Hopefully, you will continue finding treasures. There are folks dealing with illness and death too.
If your allowed to sell it you could get all your money back from the wine!!😂❤
Also those handmade quilts even the one with the big hole can still be used lots of people will take them and make teddy bears and things out of them
