- The Spiderman 2 DLC has been a trending Topic for The past few months after the release of Insomniac's Marvel Spiderman 2, fans have been anticipating the highly awaited DLC based on Leaks and Rumours The DLC is said to have Popular characters and villains like Carnage and Beetle with the latest Leak now hinting towards a 3 Segment DLC just like we had it With Insomniacs Marvel Spiderman 2018 Hammer Head DLC.
This Video aims at educating and Narrating The looming issues surrounding the delay of the DLC and when we could finally be getting a reveal or release date.

Here’s what I do believe they are working on the DLC and I do think they want to surprise us at the showcase in September or August I believe that the whole reason the DLC got delayed because of the cyber attack you might be right they could announce it for October
Yeah I have been thinking about it lately cause there isn’t much super hero games to go through lately, so it has to be announced soon hopefully and if it stretches out to next year i won’t be surprised cause Playstation DLC do take about 1 year or more for example GOW Ragnarok, Last of us part 2, Ghost of Tsushima IKI Island…
They should make the penalties more severe so the hackers should reconsider their motives as well as making more security with more firewall technician’s!
How does the leak cause such a long delay? It’s not like the developers work in cyber security. What are the spiderman assigned developers doing in terms of taking care of the leak, which is taking over a year of work time to complete?
@@tyy2387 you gotta see like this, so terabytes of data and information has been stolen and potential the games source code which is basically the access to the back end server of the game, they also took employees ID information bank details you name it.
Everything that has to do with the studio in terms of confidentiality and future projects that are still in the works just like we have seen from the leaked footage.
This is where the source code comes in, Insomniac marvel wolverine is literally playable right now as we speak some people are playing the game cause they got their hands on the games source code and by having that they are able to recode the game…. Basically back engineering the game to playable state, go search it up
@@ultimateSkadoosh I’m aware of all that. But Wolverine is a new game in development. It makes sense people would be taken off that project, because the direction of development might need some time to be reviewed, but how does that correlate with spiderman? They need an entire year to make the decision on whether they should change it or not? Given their capabilities in direction and efficiency, they don’t really have the resources to scrap a dlc due purely to the possibility of information on it being leaked. Regardless, it shouldn’t be a year long process. Banks and credit cards should’ve been acknowledged on day one. One work day, max.
The most realistic assumption is they simply aren’t capable. It’s been leaked that they did have concepts for dlc, but it took them 6 full months to remove a suit lock and add golden squares to gadgets for some reason. It took them 8 months to make 8 suits. There are literal kids who can do that in a day. It’s likely gonna be another 8-9 months before they fix simple issues like crimes disappearing. To think they’re capable of making a full fledged dlc is a very far reach.
Carnage is going to be the villain the Venom game that was in the leaks, I actually bet that’s what will probably happen. Where most of plan dlc gets put into Venom instead

Honestly if they push carnage to a dlc then that’s just sad because that character needs more build up. Carnage is just that Carnage. you can have a thing like that in a short Dlc maybe the first half on spiderman 3 like kraven for 2. carnage showing direct chaos in the city the green goblin showing up pretending to be a good guy just to enforce a controlled chaos around the city for us to stop
It might be a thing where they feature him in the DLC but doesn’t get defeated to later on be brought back for the venom game if thats a thing…. Cause venom needs an opponent

Real talk but that's Cyber attack messed up everything Marvel's Wolverine probably would have been released towards the ending of the year if not next year but now by the looks of it we might not play it until 2026 if not the beginning of 2027 and I'm not going to say Marvel Spider-Man 2 DLC is coming because I don't want to be disappointed only Insomniac knows we're getting DLC and if it happens it happens if it don't it just don't at least they gave us Marvels Spider-Man 2

I think the DLC will happen not only because financially it makes sense because it’s literally fucking Spider-Man and they have a lot of story to set up with the venom game and Spider-Man 3 etc..

The DLC's Most Likely Won't Happen. Beetle Was Originally Planned To Be Apart Of The Base Game, Which Is Where Those Missions Originate From. The Other DLC's Only Exist Inside Pitch Presentations Inside The Leaks From Many Months Before Release. Carnage's DLC most likely went on to be the idea for venom's solo game (targeted for a 2027 release). The only one that really has any chance is beetles due to them already have some ideas for it.
Lets say they cancelled the DLC… why not communicate with the fans to let them know rather than leaving them excited for nothing 🤣

We have seen Leaks of many of their projects from MS3, Wolverine and the cancelled multiplayer game and yet we haven’t seen any MS2 DLC, you would think the DLC would be leaked by now, so it begs the question if they are truly working on a DLC or not

We will get 3 in 1 and carnage will be a villian in it that leads into the Venom game. Sorry but we are definitely getting DLC’s
@@zzirfamo24 everyone has there own idea of how the DLC is going to happen or who it will feature and how the venom stand alone game will come in to all of this and wether wolverine is still in the making, some say venom is coming out next year which i think is very unlikely, i think its about 2 years away more or less. So we all speculating at this point as no one here works for Insomniac but its good to talk about these topics and thats why i made the video to have a place where you can express your opinion without being rude. I think you miss my point I specifically dont stand on any side of the speculation, my whole point is they haven’t said anything 😂 which means there might be no dlc and they might be working on other projects or there could be a dlc and they just not saying it.

At this point the Carnage storyline would be put into the Venom game, especially since Sony gutted Insomniac with layoffs

Yea, most likely since I think that may have been the one that was further along in development and they may be able to make a better case for it being attached to the project. Doing the work for Carnage right now would be expensive and time consuming which could also interfere with the other stuff they're working on. It's not a stretch seeing how Venom and Carnage origins are intertwined and Venom can be the 'Miles Morales ' to Spiderman 2 if you catch my drift.

When you hack into a database you basically take all that comes in it if you can… but it seems like the hackers dont have MS2 DLC footage or maybe cause its still early in development… but how early though and if so thats not a good sign either
True, the only thing I can think of with that is if the content was already partially in the game and was just to do the coding to expand on it. There won't be any new areas or levels, just a short segmented mission for Beetle. If held to schedule, it's alleged that Venom should be released in 2025. Either way, it's strange not to have heard anything about it yet. Unless they don't want to be held accountable by consumers and stakeholders as to a timeframe or commiting to it on a whole. Sony is kind of a weird beast lately, they rewarded a studio that did a great job with layoffs.
