- This Honey Hyaluronic Jelly Face Mask is full of hydrating ingredients to keep skin happy! Hyaluronic acid has water-absorbing properties, which creates the unique gel-like texture. It also contains honeyquat, a powerful humectant that draws moisture to your skin.
It's easy to make, and is great for a wide range of skin types. The mask needs to sit overnight to allow the skincare ingredients to absorb - this will also get rid of the clumps that occur when initially mixing. To use, apply to clean skin for 10-15 minutes. Gently wash off and pat dry.

**In this video, we incorrectly state that the lye solution will lower the pH of the face mask. We misspoke - the lye solution will raise the pH. We apologize for the mixup.**

The formulation is a spin on a Rose Hyaluronic Jelly Mask Project, formulated by TaraLee Skincare. We (and you!) loved it so much, we swapped a few ingredients for a honey theme. A big thank you to TaraLee for being so generous with her amazing formulations and skincare knowledge!

FYI Sodium Hydroxide will RAISE the pH, not lower it. You need citric acid or some other acid (e.g lactic) to lower any product.
Exactly what I was thinking!
@@44DHernandez That's what I was thinking when she said that plus, I watch Taralee, and she always adds in citric acid 50% to distilled water 50% to lower when it's too high.
You're completely right, sorry for the confusion! The lye solution will raise the pH, not lower it like we said in the video - we misspoke. Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for pointing that out so we can make a note in the video description! We hope you give this recipe a try.
@@bramble-berry, thank you for clarifying that. Love what ya'll do and how much ya'll help people learn to make soap and other cosmetics.

Thank you about all your videos becouse all of them perfect so l took and kept some of them with me to learn... I love you my dear.
Thank you! Excellent video, especially for Esthies. ❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Had no idea glycerin was a carrier for hyaluronic acid. Love this texture. I've been making my own high + low HA serum with aloe juice. I'm excited to try this!!
HA is water soluble so it will dissolve in water based ingredients
i didn't know that as well! i always let HA float on the water and sit overnight... im glad i don''t need to use xanthan gum!
hi, im looking forward on how to make liquid shampoo thanks!
Great recipe, but I already make pretty much the same type, lol 😊😊😊
TARA!!! 🎉🎉
Hi I love your content is it possible you could do something on sanitizing cosmetic containers and how they should be dried
and stored (especially in large quantities) thank you
When we sanitize containers we use a 1:5 bleach water solution or 99% alcohol and then allow our bottles and utensils to drip dry after spraying or dunking them in the liquid.
Gracias maravillosa mask , en argentina no se consigue varios insumos , con que podria reemplazar el honey guat .
Con miel o miel en polvo
?.miel liquida la misma medida ? Y en polvo cuanto seria ,que medida seria
Hi! A great substitute for honeyquat would be glycerin.
Hello dear, thank you for the very useful information, oh yes, can you add other active ingredients such as ceramide and retinol?
Yes you can!
@@bramble-berry ok thank you 🙏
That HA dissolved FAST! I usually have to leave mine hours or overnight.
Is this a specially produced HA?
Ours is pretty fine consistency and vegan:

Hi. M from Pakistan. I love to watch you making these amazing products. I love to make soaps by inspired you but I could not find lots of acids and ingredients here in my country. Now what to do?.
We can ship to you directly! www.brambleberry.com/international-shipping-policies.html
What size jar do you recommend for face mask?
It depends on how quickly you plan to go through the face mask. We suggest going small with 2 ounce jars.
Hi, I am from suriname and have a small business of making skincare products. I purchase most of the raw materials from Brambleberry. ❤.
Awesome video ma'am....... but can you please make a peel off face mask video too? because i would like to know what the difference between this face mask and a peel off face mask.....
Thank you for your suggestion! We'll let our production team know :)
@@bramble-berry thank you ! 🙂
Dear I am Kuldeep from India. You have inspired me to make soap. I had a question. What is the reason why cold process soap sticks wherever it is kept after bath? Please reply and what can be done in the recipe so that it does not stick hard at different places. Where it sticks, the soap crumbles and gets spoiled.
That is natural for naturally created soap. To avoid that we recommend using a soap dish to allow the water to drain away from the bars after using them.
@@bramble-berry tq so much for reply 😍😍
I really love to shop from you delivery to Nigeria is the problem
We are so sorry about that! Hopefully we are able to ship to Nigeria again!
Would this work with a small amount of a light oil?
We would not recommend adding any fixed oils to this recipe.
Yeah I thought about it after I asked. Thanks for responding.
❤❤❤❤❤
Hello, are your products suitable for black skin?
We have found this recipe works well with all skin types.
@@bramble-berry Thank you
Yes, they are. I make BB products often.
@@TessieDobey great thank you dear
Is this all skin types
It's great for a variety of skin types, we suggest doing a small patch test to make sure it works well for your skin.
And I can buy all the ingredients from you?😃
It's all on the brambleberry website
@@RubeeRoja thank you 💚
Absolutely! You can find them at www.brambleberry.com
Why would you use lye instead of citric acid? As a soap maker, you know how dangerous it is, which is why you had to use gloves, glasses.
Lye is only necessary if the pH needs to be adjusted, but is required if the pH level is not between 4.5-5.5, thanks for checking.
You need to redo the pH section of this video - as you made a huge mistake! This needs to be corrected asap!
You're completely right, sorry for the confusion! The lye solution will raise the pH, not lower it like we said in the video - we misspoke. Thank you for pointing that out so we can make a note in the video description! We hope you give this recipe a try.
No honey in the recipe
Honeyquat IS honey.
I'm not comfortable using sodium hydroxide to adjust ph - magnesium hydroxide is gentler
The lye solution will raise the pH, not lower it like we said in the video - we misspoke. Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for pointing that out so we can make a note in the video description! We hope you give this recipe a try.
