Creamy yet fluffy, this Whipped Rose Body Butter is perfect when lightweight moisturizers just aren't cutting it. It’s made with ultra-hydrating ingredients like avocado butter, cocoa butter, and rose extract. It’s scented with Pink Petals Fragrance Oil, which smells just like a warm spring day.
When warm, this body butter has a frosting-like consistency. Thanks to the cocoa butter, it does harden at room temperature but still has an airy, fluffy quality to it. We recommend deodorized cocoa butter so it doesn't overpower the fragrance, but regular cocoa butter works fine as well.

1 oz. Rose Extract

This looks perfect for me right now. My skin is begging for relief from the dryness caused by extreme swelling from pregnancy plus the cold weather! Also looks great as a belly butter! Rose is one of my favorite scents when done correctly. Though I wish Anne Marie described the scent notes of the fragrance she used like she usually does
i make body care products, the best rose fragrance i use atm is called rose garden by nature's oil. it's a beautiful mix of fresh roses, jasmine and gardenia. it doesnt smell like a grandma's rose perfume at all it's very soft

You should add a preservative just to make sure germs won't appear if the customer introduces water in the product. And if you live in a warm climate, it will melt during shipping, you don't want that. There are other recipes in that case.

❤Hi🎉. I wanted to share that I used in my personal blend of whipped mango butter, plain flour. It was just right where greasiness was concerned and the texture of the flour was smooth and soft. I suppose I was seeking a more of a dryer feel on my skin and mobile phone😄. I hope the change can help many and it is a product readily available in everyone’s pantry cupboard. If you do try, plain flour is thicker so use a bit less to begin with. My name is Reshma and this is my mother’s computer tablet.

Both avocado butter and rose extract have a shelf life of about 1 year, so we would recommend using it within a year of making it.

What kind of preservative would you use if selling?
There is no water being used, so it wouldn't need to have a preservative, even if selling.

Shea butter would work as well, you may need to use a little more extract to get a smooth texture. If you'd like to add a preservative, Optiphen would be a great option!

Could I use shea butter instead of the avocado butter?
You can! Shea Butter will make the consistency of the final body butter much thicker so you may want to adjust the percentages of liquid oils to counter that.
Can I use mango or shea butter instead of avocado butter
You can, but those are a little harder than avocado butter so you may want to increase either the rose extract or add a little touch of a neutral oil like Sweet Almond Oil.
