When you said I hope you make it and sell it!!!!!!!!! I was like Wow she’s a real one. So many people never want to share because of fear, but what we don’t realize is that our gift will make room for us…… We will always have opportunities to make money & get money we prosper more in life weather Health or Wealth when we share because we have our hands open to receive not closed cause we don’t get much with a clutch fist. Each and everyone of us will reach people that others won’t so no one is stealing any clients or anything like that. God Bless you❤❤❤❤ and Thank You

This looks luscious, I might make this one, Mango butter and all butters are soooo expensive here in New Zealand, the last butter I made which was more shea less Mango worked out to be $21 a jar to make, that's crazy! I think I will just make it for my family and not sell it. Thanks for the recipe and congrats on making 400 now!
Oh my gosh! That is so crazy that it would cost so much for you!! I'm horrified LOL - and thank you ♥

oh I'm so glad Leshia! Good Luck in your new business!!! 🤗
Fab video I would always recommend cooling butters in the freezer I find it stops any grainy feel to the butter.
thanks for the tip Lindsay! I usually end up putting the bowl in the freezer for the first 20-30 min depending on the size of my batch. Game Changer! 😊

aw - thank you! I really appreciate your kind words and your following! 🤗
Thank you for this tutorial with recipe. I love mango butter too, plus I add a little kokum butter and arrowroot powder to mine to help counteract greasiness. I was wondering if you could explain why it went back to the fridge so much.
Thanks for watching Debbie! Oh Kokum butter sounds lovely! I have some but only used it in shampoo bars. It went back into the fridge so often because that is something I saw Marie at humblebee and me do for a lovely final texture. I find that it holds the fluffiness better when put in the fridge. She actually whipped it every 10 min, but as my batch is so much larger I put it in closer to 30 between whipping.😊
Thanks for the content friend! I’m going to
Try this..

❤omg…I just tried your recipe, and love it !!! At first I was skeptic about it, thinking it will be greasy without arrowroot powder. When I finished and applied on my skin, it wasn’t greasy at all. It went on my skin smoothly. Oh, I just wanted to tell you I love the body butter recipe you shared. Thank you!!

Oh Good!!! Thank you so much and Welcome!!! 🤗😃
I love your Channel Tammy because your channel is so real. You never panic and always smile even when things go not quite right. I think I would love to make this because it's not greasy. Hopefully I can get pumpkin oil readily in Australia. Your Body butter looks so luxurious.
Aww, thanks Tanya! I appreciate that! I have a trick if you can't get pumpkin oil - the trick is to go on to New Directions website and search any ol' oil you want to use. They have a great section that will tell you the absorbency of most oils -
here is what it says about pumpkin: Absorption: Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil is readily absorbed by the skin.
So any oil (or butter) that you want to swap, check here and if it states "readily absorbed" you should be good to swap for a non-greasy formula!
Good Luck!💗
Bless you Tammy you’re very generous sharing your recipe. I am about to start my own body butter and your video is very detailed and I love how explained everything. Thank you you are a star

Thank you so much!
you are so welcome!!! 🤗
Awesome video! What is your suggestion to use to wipe off the jars after filling? Also, what size bottle is that of fragrance oil in the video?
I just use some 71% alcohol on a paper towel to clean the jars. That was a 16 oz bottle in the video. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the excellent tutorial! I am interested in trying the pumpkin seed oil but would like to avoid the tint. Do you have any suggestions?
I believe there are different colors from different suppliers. I buy from Soaper's Choice and it is a dark green, I believe Wholesale Supplies Plus has it that is more of a pale yellow. I would suggest looking around at where you buy oils from and seeing what they offer. I have learned to embrace the color, but I remember when I first started using it I was not sure about it! Good Luck!!
Adding body butter and scrub to my small business so this helped so much
I'm so glad! Good luck with your new line!!🤗
How much vitamin e oil? I enjoyed listening to your video several times. You’re gifted at teaching. Your down to earth and honest! Thank you!
aww thanks so much! I appreciate that! I usually use vitamin E at 1% - good luck
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I plan on making it this weekend. My question is can I make a big batch and store it in one big container and only scoop when I get an order. I will be using different scents per order. So basically this would be my base. I love your videos. You are so down to earth. I am a new subscriber.
thank you so much for subscribing and your sweet words! Yes you can store it as a base! I actually just did this and it works perfectly!
Good Luck! 💗

I would love it if you are willing to share any recipes for curly hair products. (My partner has curly hair)
I am working on a shampoo bar for curly hair that I hope to share soon. Also I am working on testing a co-wash that would be great for curly hair.
Thanks for watching!!
Thanks. Can’t wait to watch and try it 🙏
Hi! Thank you for the recipe, I'm going to make it this week. I am wondering if I should add optiphen to the batch?
You can but I don't. Since there is no water in the formula and no real worry of water being added to it while using I don't think it is necessary. I hope it turns out for you!! 💖
I’m very turned off by greasy body butters…but I love how luxurious they are. I’m thrilled to have found you! I’m making this recipe for a Mother’s Day gift to my mom..and myself 😆 thank you!!
I sure hope it turns out for you!!! (of course you get one too 😂 - that's a given LOL)

Thank you very much!
You're welcome! 🤗💕
Thank you so much for the amazing recipes. 😇💞 What can I use instead of Pumpkin seed oil ?
Hi Sneha! You can really use any oil that you prefer. I try to make this as non-greasy as I can so I would choose an oil that has a fast absorption rate. If you check out new directions website they have a really good section on their oils and butters that will tell you if an oil is fast absorbing or not. It is my go-to for that info. - here is a link to show what I mean, scroll down to the absorption section: www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/products/carrier-oils/pumpkin-seed-organic-carrier-oil.html good luck!
About to make mine!! 😍😍😍😍
oh good! Please let me know how it went! 💕
Thank you so much for this tutorial and recipe. I am going to give it a try! How much Vitamin E oil did you add? Thank you!
I'm glad you are going to try it! Hopefully you love it as much as I do. I use 1% Vit E. - good luck!! 🤗
This is my first visit to your channel, I was reading the comments, they are filled with love and respect for you Tammy, and that tells me a lot about you without knowing you. Thanks for keeping it real.
P.S. I've just subscribed.
It says loads! This is my first video. I clicked it because it said with recipe and that intrigued me- not that I could make it anyway! 😂
Thank you so much! I appreciate your sweet comment and for subscribing! 💖
Over the years I have made mine in bulk like this and then pop into a 5 lb lidded bucket and simply scoop out what I need to make batches of whipped :)
ohhh, Debbie, I really like that idea! Totally stealing it! 😊💕
Thank you for the video! Where do you get the mango & shea butters from?
I usually get them from Soaper's Choice, Thanks for watching!!
I never heard of pumpkin seed oil. I'm going to try that. I heat my mango and shea in the sun during warm months and cool in the fridge before whipping. Seems like I had grittiness when I used the freezer...not sure if that was the reason. Thank you so much for your channel. It's great!
Hi Cora! I'm so happy you found me!! Thank you for your kind words! What a great idea to heat your butters in the hot sun! That has to be more gentle than a stove or microwave!! I use the freezer because my batch is usually too big to do much in the fridge, I'm not sure if that would cause graininess or not though. Those butters sure are picky LOL (give that pumpkin seed oil a go, I think you will love it!!) 💗
Looks lovely. If you Master Batched this Butter. Would you store it in the fridge or just on the shelf?
This is actually something I am planning on doing very soon! I personally would set it on my shelf for storage. But..I don't have a fridge to put it in so I don't store anything in there (other than my frozen goat's milk and tallow). My storage room also stays quite cool, around 58-65 usually so that helps with my storing. If I had a room that stayed in the 70s or so I would maybe rethink that and purchase a fridge for storing my oils and whatnot. If you try this let me know how it goes!!
Thanks for your time and tips. Lovely video.
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you lots of love fro India
Thanks for watching from India Laxmi! 💖💖💖

Love your video mama im going to subscribe 🥰
Hello, LOVE this video! Where can I find the recipe? Thanks so much!
Hi Debby! Thank you so much! - the recipe is in the description box for your!🤗
I loved every minute of this well done 👍🏾
aww, thank you so much Kimberly!!😍
Hello! Thank you! For all you do and provide to us! New subscriber! Can you please tell which will be a good scale to purchase? I saw you use 2 different types would you share which ones and why? Thank you!
Also What vitamin E do you used?
Hi and welcome!!! I usually use the My Weigh KD-8000 Kitchen and Craft Digital Scale (amazon) basically because that is what I saw all the other soapers using LOL - it works great, can hold a lot of weight and is not crazy expensive. for very small amounts I was using the AWS Series Digital Pocket Weight Scale 100g (amazon) because it is cheap and it works great. My larger scale is not good for less than 100 gram weights. Good Luck!
Great tutorial! I really loved watching this. For this batch... how many 4oz jars were you able to fill?
Thanks Yvette! I split the batch into 4, each with 16 oz each - that gave me a total of 6 4 oz jars with about 3 oz in each. (for each scent) - total recipe yielded 24 jars
Hope that helps!! Thank you for watching😊
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Awesome! Thank you so much. I feel inspired to try this. 🤞🏽
@@yvettearmstrong211 please let me know if you do and how you like it!!
Beautiful! The million dollar question. After 3-4 days does it harden? I know it will some but will it get very stiff?
Yes! it is very soft and spongy! But this has a lot to do with how long you mix it. It can be tricky- no enough and it gets pretty firm and hard to "scoop" . Too much and the butter will deflate over time leaving it looking odd in the container, like you shorted someone on product. (I've done both!😆)
Wow.. finally, someone who knows how to use a spatula
I love your channel! (I just found it!) I’m wondering if you have ever used baobab butter and if so, can you tell me your thoughts on it? Thanks!
Hello!! I have never used baobab butter, I'm not sure I've ever seen it. I do use baobab fruit powder in a shampoo bar and a baobab hydrolyzed protein in a beard wash. I think those are great! Now you have me thinking I need to find the butter LOL😆🤗
New subscriber it funny and have such a soothing voice .. where did u get the pumpkin seed oil .. I usually get the small bottles but I love that huge bottle it would last me longer .. thanks for such an in formative video ..
Thanks for subbing! 💖 I get my pumpkin seed oil from Soaper's Choice usually. I lasts me a good bit of time! And - they are pretty much the best price and super fast shipping (I'm in the states) - I usually get my orders within a few days!
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique thanks for replying so quickly .. I usually get my oils from Amazon or Etsy .. but I will try them out .. love the dark rich color .. keep the videos coming ..
Do you typically use preservative? Great video.
Hi! Thanks for your comment. I do not use a preservative for this as there is no water in the formula and there is also very little chance of water being introduced.
9:07 I became your newest subscriber!! 😂😂
haha thank you for letting me know that! of course I had to go watch 9:07 and see what I said/did to prompt that 😂😂 - yep - just me here doin my thing (and making mistakes and messes along the way!) 💗
I love pumpkin seed oil. Especially for my scalp and hair. I’m trying your recipes. Definitely agree with body butters do not have water. It seems to be a newer trend to name thicker lotions as butters. New subscriber btw.
Thanks for sharing Tracy! I haven't used pumpkin seed oil for my scalp/hair - but I love the idea of it!!! hmm, no you have me thinking 😆 - thanks for subscribing, I'm so happy you are here!!
U r amazing !!
aww, thank you!😂
Thank you for sharing, beginner here and interested on making my own natural y healthy products, can you tell me do you use refined or natural butters?
I use refined. I personally don't want to fight the strong scents that unrefined brings to the product. But some people that are wanting super natural products will use unrefined. Good Luck!!!
Thank you
You're welcome💖
Beautiful! Where are your jars from?
Thank you - I have been getting my jars from SKS! www.sks-bottle.com/
Love love your video..where did you purchase the scale from?
thanks so much Carla! I purchased it from Amazon. My "amazon storefront" is linked in the description box if you want to check it out. It would be under tools of the trade LOL thanks for watching and your comment
Thanks you so much for responding. I looked for it.
Hi, I just discovered your channel and thought I'd come and check it out. I got introduced to body butter at a candle party and ever since, I've been obsessed with it and whenever I see someone selling it somewhere, I do try to get my hands on some. I've always wanted to learn how to make butters and stuff so I'm so glad to have found your channel. Thank you for posting this up here and I will check the rest of your stuff out!
Thanks for sharing that story!! I'm so happy to see you here! 😃
I make my body butter the same way you do lol great minds think just a like .. I love thick luscious body butter too and not greasy
YES!~ I love this one so much! Thanks so much for watching!🤗
300 subscribers? That will go up quickly! You’re amazing and REAL ❤️. I didn’t read all the comments so I apologize if someone already asked this but does this recipe ship ok without melting during these hot summer months?
Hi Rose! Thank you for your sweet words!💖💖💖 - for shipping - that is a hard no, LOL - this is pretty heat sensitive. Outdoor shows in the summer, no, shipping in the summer, no - but I have had success shipping in the winter. I am going to work on having a second formula that is more heat stable next year (I hope). I love this one so much I hate to change it, but I do loose sales due to not being able to ship in the summer🤔
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Thanks again! I completely understand not wanting to change your recipe as I have one of those too ;)
My daughter and I really enjoyed watching you and your video and thank you for sharing your recipe. We are going to try out your recipe. I was wondering if you could suggest the best place for us to buy the ingredients including a place to purchase scents. We do have our business license to purchase wholesale. Thank you.
Hi Tammy! If you are buying ingredients in an amount around 16 oz or less I would say Wholesale Supplies Plus or Bramble Berry. Natures garden would also be a good place. they all have ingredients and your packaging.
If you are buying in a larger amount (over 7 pounds) I would suggest Soapers Choice. They have the best prices and the best shipping times.
Thanks for watching!!💖
do you have a smaller recipe that I could try ? I have made so many creams that don't work, so having a smaller recipe would be so helpful. thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you.
Well, if you look in the description box the percentages are there for you to scale up or down. If that is a little confusing (I couldn't do that without a software - me and math - we don't like each other LOL) just take the amounts and keep dividing by half until you get to the size you are comfortable with. Good Luck!
