  • This Sea Clay Face Mask recipe is chock-full of amazing ingredients for your skin. It's made with natural sea clay, kaolin clay, ginseng extract, tea tree essential oil, and skin-loving oils. This mask was specifically formulated for oily and combination skin. The kaolin clay and sea clay help absorb excess moisture and leave your face feeling fresh.
    This is an emulsified product, which means you mix together water and oils. Because water is involved, you need to use a preservative (we used Optiphen). If emulsifying sounds a little tricky, mix together the clays, essential oil and extract together. Once you're ready to use, mix a touch of water or oil with small amount of the clay mixture and apply.

    • @kelleyspartiatis5323
      @kelleyspartiatis5323 Pƙed 4 lety +6

      Acoustic Newbie38 the way shown here is not how you make a proper emulation. You need to heat and hold your oil and water phases separately for 20 mins and it matters which way you pour. Whether oil into water or water into oil. Go to swift craft monkey to learn properly. She is excellent and knows what she’s doing. You can always just add oil or water to your dry ingredients as you use it for a nice mask too. If you only want a small amount of oil you can use polysorbate 80 to solubilise it in a water base for your mask. There are so many options but this is not how you make a stable emulation.

    • @acousticnewbie3861

    • @bramble-berry
      @bramble-berry  Pƙed rokem +1
