    Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 Review
Built tough for demanding terrain. Built smart for effortless assistance.
A Powerful E-MTB For Conquering Every Trail
The Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 is a versatile electric mountain bike that’s tough enough to take on demanding enduro descents and has smart pedal assist from Bosch to take the pain out of the climbs.
    170/160mm Travel Front/Rear | 27.5” Wheels
    85Nm Max Torque | 750Wh or 625Wh Battery
    Smart Bosch Power
All models in the range feature the Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 Smart System drive unit. This state-of-the-art e-bike system offers powerful pedal assistance - up to 85Nm torque - that responds intuitively to rider input. The LED remote switch and Kiox 300 display allow you to switch between power modes and monitor key metrics while you ride. You can also customise the way the motor responds and how much power it delivers in each of the modes using the eBike Flow app.
    Large Battery Capacity
Most Stereo Hybrid 160 models feature Bosch’s largest capacity 750Wh PowerTube battery pack. This offers incredible range - from 32Km in eMTB mode up to 65Km in ECO mode - when riding demanding MTB trails in mountainous terrain. The battery sits neatly in the downtube and is easily removed if you want to charge and/or store it off the bike.
    Hard Hitting Suspension
With a burly fork like the RockShox Zeb or Fox 38 taking charge of the 170mm of front suspension travel the Stereo Hybrid 160 is ready to take on the most demanding terrain. The 160mm travel rear suspension system is sensitive to small bumps on the trail while also soaking up the big hits. This means you get a smooth and capable ride over mixed terrain.
    Impeccable Trail Manners
Featuring Agile Trail Geometry, the Stereo Hybrid 160 is focused towards riders who like pushing their limits on the trail. The low standover height offers plenty of room to move about over the bike to give you more control, so you can have more fun as you ride.
    Stand Out Model
Available at a very competitive price the Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SLX 750 is the model that offers the best performance for your money. You get the same great motor as the top-of-the-line models paired with largest battery, so drive unit wise it’s as good as they get. The RockShox Zeb Select RC fork is a standout component at this price point and the Shimano groupset gives you all the capability you need. With a Maxxis Assegai / Minion DHR combo it’s even got the perfect tyre setup for aggressive UK riding.
The Cube Stereo Hybrid is a capable e-MTB that’s equally at home on trail centre loops, bike park tracks and challenging enduro trails. It’s an ideal e-bike for those who love mountain biking and want the power to do it more.

Thank you for posting this video , I have heard a lot about this bike so I started my research then came across your video and I must say it’s a lot of bike for the money. After watching such a well put together video (well done by the way) I went online and bought mine in the medium at a bargain price £3299 Thank you again ,

I have this exact bikemodel and I love it. EMTB mode is just set and forget in 90% of my riding time. It´s sturdy but nimble to ride. And the easy to remove battery is a bonus in the cold season.

Bought this exact bike a couple of weeks ago, it’s an awesome bit of kit, done nearly 200 miles and smashed it through some rough, not looking forward to my first crash. Carries tonnes of speed downhill due to weight but is still fairly nimble when you want throw it about, insane torque, watch for wheel spins when on mud/damp trails ;)
The kiox is awesome also! Really nice thing to have!

The thing that always put me off the cube e bikes was the word hybrid, because when I was looking I seen the word hybrid and skipped past them because I assumed they were hybrid bikes and not MTB bikes, and that's what others said, I think using hybrid was a poor choice of words for marketing. Why not call the bike stereo E 160.

As far as I know "Hybrid" is the Cube word for electric MTB because the non-electric MTBs are called "Stereo"

@@michaeloeser yeah that's what I assumed, but I see the word hybrid and think of something different.

There’s a second possible option for the naming: the frame is made from carbon and the linkage and the rear end are made from aluminium. I wouldn’t let the name put me off buying it, though. Have a test ride and if it’s to your liking fuck the name and get it. 🙂
