As a Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SLX 750 '24 model owner, I can report that it's definitely a bike you should consider.
Firstly, you can't beat the value of the package.
Mine is the second cheapest model @ £3300, and you still get RockShox Zebs, proper quality Maxxis tyres and a carbon frame.
There's nothing bad in the package, even the finishing kit is of high quality.
So, yeah, I totally recommend it, honestly, buy in confidence.

Spot-on guidance 👍. I sensibly got the 140 SL as I’m fairly new to EMTB riding and, being honest with myself, needed a bike to tackle fire roads and mountain tracks on day-long adventures, rather than dreaming of jumping down them. I also need to ride to those tracks by road, so the 29” wheels do it for me. I couldn’t be happier with my mini monster truck of a bike. It’s given me the confidence and assistance to tackle climbs and distances that I would never have imagined.

I bought the 160 stereo SL last August , really pleased with it , I changed the bars on it to wider ones ,makes it a more stable , the 27.5 wheels definitely make it slower than 29s

Pretty much can't go wrong with both, especially if you're into all things MTB. I think the TM is my favorite model of the Stereo's and since I also like to commute, I would probably go with a 29" wheelset, 140. Thanks again for such solid content you guys!

Awesome video. I am new to MTB and mainly ride a combo of fire roads and bike paths. I got the 140 Race and love it! Had a Trek on hold but dollar for dollar the Cube was a much better purchase. The bike feels responsive and gives me a smooth ride. The motor gives me more than enough power since I am a large guy.

I can't decide here :) What convinced you to take 140 ? I'm pretty heavy and tall so maybe 29" would be better for me. But they have very similar geometry. I've got used to my Specialized 29" so not sure how I'd like 29" wheels.

Yeeewww! These Bikes Rip! I used to ride 29ers only, coming from the XC world of MTB. I needed a bike with a little more travel for long rock garden trails. I hopped on both the 140 and the 160 and both bikes ripped. However, I went with the longer travel 160 because I ride more roudy Enduro type trails.

Currently upgrading to a E mountain bike and haven't done the hard single tracks since i was younger. Tossing up between the Cube reaction and the Stereo. But struggling to decide whether i need the full suspension. Have only have front suspension in the past. I love the look and want full suspension but is it worth the extra $$$. I do use the bike on both fire tracks and road also so any advise welcome

I have just bought a 2021 hardtail reaction, but suntour suspension is terrible . I advise spending extra for the best suspension you can afford, and try to get full suss, you can always lock it out on tarmac roads.

great video and review like always. I picked up a 2020 action team 140 last fall. Looking forward to ripping it this summer. Winter right now, as I live in Canada. So far I have rode around 200 miles on it. Love it. Think I picked the right spec. When I ripping gnarly trails in the mountains I wink rent a downhill spec. For me, this will be a commuter and a weekend downhill/cross country bike

    Hi, great video !
    I just bought a 140 actionteam.
If I understand right, I could make my all mountain bike an enduro bike just by changing the fork and the wheels.
Did I got that right ?

    • @razorsharp9850
      @razorsharp9850 Před rokem +1

I think so. You can go Mullet, because smaller wheel size will fit but on the 160 you can’t go up, doesn’t fit in the back. Different fork. The rear shock might not be needed.

Hi guys, need to get some advice. I'm pretty tall and heavy rider 189cm and around 115kg without gear. I debating which size to take. Either 140 or 160 22" (XL) size. 140 has 29" and 160 is 27.5" wheels. I've always had 29" XL and never tried 27.5" so not sure what difference would be on an e-bike and if I would have any problems. Geometry is very similar, 160 has a bit bigger wheelbase. What I like more that 160 has stuffier fork domain which has 38mm stanchions and 140 has Silver 35mm stanchions so it could be better with my weight. At the other hand I just plan to do regular mountain riding, no big jumps or such. Can someone give me some advice here ? Thanks.

Kind of misleading, the 140 TM is a 29er and the 160 is a 27,5.
