Full Season Tactical Analysis Of City : czcams.com/video/i8fhQQ--4nI/video.html
Stones was like Beckenbauer in this match, going to wherever position is necessary for the team.
For me, man of the match
@@BIG-qn6ed absolutely man of the match , several times he made exceptional progressions forward which normally rodri does , ( rodri had a bad game overall )
@@BIG-qn6ed he was man of the match until the last 10 minutes when ederson blocked out everything except the sun light😅
6/6 successful dribbles in a UCL final since Messi v Juve 2015 , Man of the Final
He so good, why he becomes defender
City felt prrssure the most. In the first half, Inter was able to stop City building from the back, City could barely play out from the back. Inter man-marked all City players man to man. This was because City's set-up was predictable and Inter were more than ready for it. This is why Pep likes to come up with an unfamiliar game plan in games like this, to stun the opponent. But because people accuse him of overthinking, he came out with what everybody knows. What saved City was that they were able to keep Inter at Bay in the first half.
In the 2nd Half, Pep tweaked his tactics a bit. He reverted to a back 4, using Ake and Stones as inverted full backs, using Rodri as a single pivot instead and then pushing Rodri a bit higher. This was how the goal was able to come.
For me I expect Pep to do something crazy. I expected him to take off Haaland and bring on Alvarez, Play Alvarez as a false 9 sort of, as Alvarez was more comfortable on the ball and would have provided a solid numerical advantage in midfield for City. And Alvarez is also good in long-range shots as well, which would have been another attacking option. Stones and Bernardo for me were City's best players for me.
I think it's high time Pep re-introduce tiki-taka back to this City's side. That triangle quick passing would have Helped City beat any press and man-marking.
This is why Pep's Barcelona remains his greatest team so far.
In the end, City were lucky not to conceed to be honest.
City, going forward, will be more relaxed in the Champions League and I see them winning another Champions League under Pep before Pep leaves.
I won't say City play was 'predictable'
It's more of City struggle against teams who plays a 5-3-2 to 3-5-2 transition, good examples are Conte/Jose with Spurs, Brentford and Lyon years ago..
Teams with that formation are dangerous in the transition
And also include Phil, he game style changed the way Inter also defended
@@user-qc8ms5wj1w I agree with you. Inter were just a lot defensive. It's not easy to play through a good defensive team who also play a back five. Has nothing to do with predictability cuz his tactics weren't the generic 4 back, 3 midfielders, 3 attackers. He even dropped Walker.
City felt the pressure because they had fewer answers than usual because of Inter’s tactics. They need to have more in their bag of tricks for the rare situation like this.
Pretty much all City players looked nervous and kind of scared. That‘s what was holding them back in my opinion. So many sloppy passes and unforced errors, the pressure got to them and they couldnt play as freely as usual. However having finally won the Champions league, i guess it will be easier in the coming seasons as the pressure now finally fell off.
I think City were just nervous.
Not because of inters tactics as they were making mistakes as soon as the whistle went. Inter's pressure meant they couldn't build up and find form but I wouldn't say that it was the pressure they placed which threw City off their game. City's game was already off.
City were poor from the start and Inter never allowed them to string passes giving them the confidence they usually show
Even in the first half, despite the nerves City had quite a few good opportunities and if they played at their usual capacity then pep not overthinking it and implementing the form he did was the best option. There were three good opportunities City had in the first half that City usually capitalises on but failed in this game.
- Silva had a shot that just went over the bar
- Haaland had an opportunity but the angle wasn't as sharp as he was aiming for. Instead of going to the far post, it went straight to the keeper
- KDB had a pass straight to Grealish where Grealish's first touch failed miserable losing the ball to Inter
I also disagree that City's formation was predictable.
City could have easily gone with their usual formation from the start which they did in the second half
Stones by himself was a solution.
I think u could see how nervous City was, they didnt play like against Real at all. Really poor for their standarts tbh. Inter was class and was in the end punished for not using their chances, and they had ENOUGH of them to atleast score a goal. I never thought that City would win close and kind of lucky against Inter but thats what u need in CL. Still really impressive performance of Inter!
City wasn't there to play a beautiful football. Just like 2020 with that style play we lost to Chelsea. I also complained about that by big ups to pep
@@edmundamoah7611 We heard you
@@hieumain3212 and that is the scary part from Pep's team: Still win despite not being their best. Inter win tactical battle is a delusion set from Pep actually, at the end of the day. Pep made 1 subtle change destroy Inter's whole gameplan, that is take Barella out of the game when Inter needed him the most
it's just proves that CL is all about luck.
Madrid-idiots couldn't accept this single fact last year ( that they won cus they were LUCKY AS FUCK).
But now they say that city is lucky xD
The lucky one is inter( as well), for going into a bracket between Milan, benfica and napoli.
Where City was in a bracket with Real madrid, bayern and Chelsea.
And ended up going up against real madrid and Bayern.
2 teams that would almost certainly knock out inter in a 2 match showdown.
However, with how the brackets ended up, it was certain that one "weaker" team would make it to the finals...
Which is huge luck for them.
City has been unlucky and always the superior in every single match they play and never won CL.
Finally they played worse but had some luck with them, and won their first CL.
it completly proves my point that CL is incredibly lucky, same as world cup... and yet ppl use those trophies as "measurement" of the goat teams and players.
While Races like laliga and Premier legue are much more accurate cus it proves consistancy, and not just 1-4 lucky matches.
Lakaka wa absolute class for city
Simone Inzaghi will be back. He is a great manager. He didn't park the bus and I think his tactics were just nullified because he controlled the game without the ball. It was intense.
Inter played better because it was city and I don’t think they will be stronger next season since they have not met a good side once they reached playoffs.. also I feel
Like insaghi was more likely to contain man city play rather than winning the match because every time they are in possession of the ball they are scared of being direct to the goal fear of being counter attack by city midfielders ..
Stones was so good this match, if it wasn't for him City wouldn't have been able to deal with the early mistakes and momentum swing
bernado stones and ederson was low key the bests at field
I don't think it is about tactical loss. It is all about to clinically make a goal from every chances. Phoden got a good chance but failed. Lukaku got many chances but failed. Man City have more creative players, I wish they created more chances.
That Foden chance would be one of the cleanest goals
I thought he would go near post but decided to go far post
you are 100% correct.
Many chances?
A couple of half chance shots and a header saved.
He hardly missed a hat full of chances, did he?
Mahrez would have finished that chance easy. Should have subbed in Mahrez instead of Foden.
@@thesurrealist7 Mahrez wouldn’t have been in the same position or had the ability to create the chance.
I think Inzaghi had the better tactical setup to beat his opponent with. It's just a shame that his strikers were either selfish or completely useless when the chances they had trained for finally arrived.
i feel like inter had the ball in way better opportunities throughout the match as well, and if they had just a little bit more quality in the forward areas they would have one. sometimes going forward they seem to run out of ideas and needed a more dynamic player like leao to drive at defenders.
Same with Chelsea when city played them in 2021.. city were the better team but still lost that game. This is only our send final, it will get better and our nerves will be more relaxed in the next ones
@@ogbonnasam9997 One can also say that psg was better than bayern in 2020, but still ended up losing.
Most finals are tight, tense encounters. I wouldnt say that this one was as lopsided as Pool vs RM though. City werent the better side, but they didnt get dominated either like RM did (although liverpool still lost).
Unfortunately lakaka strikes again in big games
This season Pep learned from his past mistakes, set aside his obsessions and focused on winning throughout the tournament. In the final City were nowhere near their best due to pressure of the treble and first UCL.

Despite the loss I feel like tactically inter played a great game and would’ve won on a different night
If they had better players... Simone Inzaghi should leave for a better club like Klopp did. The guy did everything right but his players let him down.
It's football, what can you do
Such a useless comment. On a different night doesn't exist in football. On a different night City might have thrashed Inter 4-0, but that didn't happen, and that's the point. The match is over and there is no reason to keep wondering about what could've been "on a different night", got to move on and keep going (doesn't matter if you're a City or Inter fan), because you have next game to focus on, then the next, and so on, that's football. Also, Inter almost didn't exist until the final quarter-hour of the match lol.
@@amalgamio3732 your comment just shows you didn't understand what he meant.
Inter would've won if this city side wasn’t the best team of this time
Man City won this game the exact same way Real Madrid won it last year. More clinical with less chances and defending a 1-0 lead by the skin of their teeth. Anyone who praised Real Madrid last year but criticizes City this year is a hypocrite exposing their biased agenda.
Nop. When Madrid won that UCL title, it was not only the European Champion but the best football team in the world at that date. Today city is only the European Champion.
@@emeraldtradecolombiac.muri5812 Sure mate, I could smell your bias half a globe away.
@@emeraldtradecolombiac.muri5812 what a wierd comment... definetly 0 objective thinking.
It's because City were amazing until the final, City were also much better than Real were last year in the final, but we kept missing passes. The only similarity is the scoreline, the difference is that was Madrid's game plan while City were just nervous due to the occasion.
@@emeraldtradecolombiac.muri5812 Man city have better players than Real Madrid. You think players like Carvajal, valverde, militao, alaba and camavinga can start for them ? LOOOOL
I heartily agree that this was excellently played tactically. The nerves were showing for City, but also the long season. Some players minute muscles weren’t at their best. The tactics were right, but Inter players were better overall . Dias was amazing in his momentary actions with Eder.
I think Inzaghi won the tactical battle this time to Guardiola, they always had City where they wanted.
But this is UCL, 50% of the victory is luck. Sometimes you dominate and still lose like it happened to City last year against Real Madrid. And today they played worse than usual but managed to win.
Nobody can say it was undeserved though, as City won the treble and defeated strong opponens convincingly throughout the UCL. Not their best game, Inter probably deserved more. But the title as a whole is totally deserved.
they knocked out real madrid and bayern.
Definetly well deserved.
The other bracket had it VERY easy compared to City.
Of course, the good things about this match, both of team believe themself could've win the game. It's great to see what will happen in the future CL to both teams, i think they can be a regular, City won it, they tasted it, now they can be regular Champion from now on, Inter will go to another final or semi atleast.
i disagree, where you played a compact back5 like that you will naturally have a difficult time getting changes (when PL team used to do back3/5 a lot city are having troubles getting chances) the difference with inter is they got strong and big CF with a good distributor on Onana. On 1st half city were nervous and in 2nd half they got better until they got the goal and decide to drop deep
Inter Milan approach the game more dangerously and there transition in the game was excellent but unfortunately they never made there chances count that they created to become champions of European football. And congrats go out for Pep Guardiola he finally made big history Man-City.🥇🏆⚽👍
@@akhsdenlew1861 We're taking about our today's performance. didn't you read his comment
It’s quite annoying how people call Pep’s football yesterday “not beautiful”. If anyone watches UFC, it’s like people complaining about grapplers. They just wanna see people kickbox, it’s more “fun” and “exciting”. For me, it means people don’t understand the game. And that’s why majority is bored with Seria A, it’s not exciting enough.
It was an absolutely beautiful game yesterday, very carefully played between two great tacticians. Congrats to Man City from a long time Inter fan. Well deserved. I’m proud of my boys for showing up.
P.S.: Luck is always an aspect in cup matches, so stop complaining about teams getting lucky. That’s just silly.
Inter Imposed Their Style Of Play More Than City, City Never Controlled This Match Even With The Possession. Football Can Be Unlucky Sometimes.
Spot on❤
That's the way it is... the better team on the day does not always win. 2021, City were better than Chelsea but they lost the final, today, City were poor by their own standards but managed to win it, football can be funny. Although, on the whole, City do deserve the title as there's no denying that they are the best team in Europe atm
Inter had the easiest path to the final
@@christiandal4968 Is not correct. Well, Pep has been more constant and has won more titles, he even marks more times than Kloop, Ancelotti and Mourihno, he leaves heirs like De Zerbi, Arteta, Xavi, Kompany, Ten Hag and Enzo who continue with the Cruyff philosophy, the detractors of Guardiola are looking for excuses for the humiliations he gave Madrid.
Inter is extremley hard to break down in the midfield...i really underated them....they were extremely good....but city were sharp enough to get disciplined and try to solve the problem in the 2nd half. Pep finaĺly knows that you dont need to play perfect to win.
Inter based on Inzaghi's tactics took city into their uncomfortable zone, Inter players won the majority of air balls and almost every single duel , city's flanks were just useless against Dimarco and Dumfries and the midfield was just Inter players dominating all balls
If by solve the problem you mean get a fortunate bounce to an open player in space, I agree. On other days they will not get that deflection. But they were good enough to win.
Inter is generally underated beacuse many people dont watch Seria A. But in fact they have not beaten by any Grand Club last few months exept Napoli when they played with subs. Hardly to beat Inter with many goals. The midfield is very good. Sure City is the best team. But i want to give more credit to Inter that push City to have the most difficult match of the season
So interesting
Very very close game
Well played Inter
Congrats City
City has mastered the art of winning trophies and games even when they are not at their best. People arguing Inter had a good game should know that is not a trophy. It is funny how City have often been criticized for playing too well (like vs Madrid last season), only to lose the game, and now are being criticized for not playing well yet they have bagged the UCL! come on! we don't care about the beautiful game now. all we need is trophies and more trophies!
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
that's becouse being good is not enough for the champions legue.
And the fact that city didn't have 1 untill today is the proof.
Champions legue needs LUCK.
A lot of it.
Pep finally cracked the riddle.
Being the best on the field with 90% possesion is just not enough....
Lucky my friend. Do not compare to Barca 2011 or 2009. Inter could have won!

And yet, NOBODY is praising Acerbi, he was phenomenal on Haaland
That's also Haaland's fault but Acerbi is so underrated, amazing defender especially this year somehow

Inters counter were not the best , latuaro doesn’t have the physicality to go up against city’s CBs.
But there was Dzeko who could. Oh, wait, he's old...
@@manniking233 we did what we could with the players we could afford. just that.
No he did fine. Dzeko and Lukaku shit the bed. Lukaku couldn't get possession when he needed to.
@@manniking233 actually Inter's game went from bad to shit when Dzeko subbed off
Dzeko is good when it comes to holding the ball n aerial battles, Lukaku was getting bossed in aerial battles against Ake, while having the height advantage(Lukaku is 6'2 or 6'3 while Ake is 5'11)
Inter played really well and pretty much controlled the game
Until Pep made some tactical changes in the second half and Phil been subbed on changed the game
Phil gamestyle is more dynamic to Kevin.
he was poor on the night, simple as that.
hmm, i think this misses the point. City's win was accidental (even if deserved, given the season they've had). Guardiola's tactics didn't seem to be working during this game, if anything, Inzaghi's Inter managed to neutralise City last night (goal moment excluded of course).
Inzaghi beats Guardiola todays in terms of tactics! City won because they have better players overall! This game was better managed by Inzaghi!
yes, as simple as that.
Well city won because they were more clinical. Inter had the better scoring chances and more of them. Imo city looked bad this match but that’s football
Inter were tactically good and could've won this game.. one mistake Inzaghi made was starting Lukaku on the bench... The way both teams were playing, a striker like Lukaku was needed, someone who can stretch the defence by running behind and coming short to receive, hold and invite midfielders to push up... Also as city were pressing, he was the perfect outlet to go long
Despite the loss I was quite impressed with Inter. Im sure more teams next season will find more ways to counter cities unstoppable tactics.
Congrats to City though they deserved it this year.
Inzaghi is masterclass,Haaland was shut down by our Acerbi,a 35 year old guy, great defender tho.
@@Nick-zf8lw Inzaghi really is a tactical mastermind!!
It was a final where both teams had a long break before the game so inter had a lot of energy to press... Next season things like fatigue, injuries will not make it easy for other teams.
Inzaghi he try alot to control mancity while big teams and big coaches they do nothing just man city surprised them ,intermillan never fear city pressing pressure they were cool
Great Analysis and I wish you covered Inter’s tactics more too !!!
Inter Milan made effective use of their goalkeeper, Onana, to initiate their attacks with long passes in the middle zone of the field, targeting Dzeko. To create an advantageous situation, they pushed Barella to the right-hand side, aiming to overload Ake . They did the same thing on the left with Calhanoglu overloading Akanji (a 2v1 situation). This forced Gundo and Rodri, the Man City midfielders, to provide cover for their teammates.
As a result of this overload and the consequent need for coverage, Inter created space in the middle zone of the field. Onana, being the skilled passer that he is, capitalized on this space and delivered long passes to Dzeko, who dropped deep to receive the ball. From there, Dzeko had the option to distribute the ball to either Barella or Colhanoglu, who were positioned in support of Martinez, Darmaco, and Damfries, who had already pushed up high to launch attacks.
Overall Inter Milan's tactics involved utilizing Onana's passing ability to make long passes in the middle zone, targeting Dzeko. They created an overload on the right-hand side by pushing Barella to draw Ake and Calhanoglu's attention, thus forcing Gundo and Rodri to provide cover. This, in turn, created space in the middle zone, enabling Onana to make accurate long passes to Dzeko, who then had options to distribute the ball to Barella or Colhanoglu, who were supporting the attacking players.
Overall, this tactical approach allowed Inter Milan to effectively exploit the spaces created by their positional play and utilize their players' strengths to launch attacking moves against Man City in the Champions League final.
Great analysis 👍
Thank you FMS
I watched all Manchester City champions league matches this season, and last night’s Final was their worst performance of all. They were very lucky to have Rodri with his magic shot. Inter Milan played very well.
How about a video on Barca's season? Like why they were so good in La Liga but not in Europe.
so good breakdown, and one little suggestion is, maybe it could be more complete video used to provide the analysis.
Often tournaments like these are not decided by the quality of football but a few crucial moments. In the end it comes down to individual quality, experience and a bit of luck. Madrid did not play well last season but they somehow got the wins. City did the same in the final.
Ederson suprised me the most especially in the final minutes
Pep should thank God that De Bruyne had injury. He was completely marked out because he was the heaviest target of Inter Milan. When Phil came on, he was far underrated and caused them more havoc.
Nice game from Inter.
What is The software u used for the virtual field?
Inter played a almost perfect game, everyone expected city to blow them away
If inter had better forwards could’ve been different
Also ederson made some crazy saves
This also goes to show how poor the current RM squad is, they are badly in need of reinforcement.
THAT GAME WAS A TACTICAL MASTERCLASS!
I think City issue is that they need fast winger that can run fast behind this kind of defense line, as jack and Bernardo are not fast, I know Pep strategy is focusing in midfield but two fast wingers are definitely needed
Agree, yet the position of Dzeko was a bit different, with/without Ball in favor of inter . At the end was an episode to change. No tactical win.
Best analysis
Top level 4 both teams en gud work 4 u man but kindly drop us an in-depth analysis of this treble winning side pliiz
If you take into account the huge disparities in the value of the players and the manager, Inter did much better than City tactically. City scored during the only spell of time in which they were really controlling the pitch (excellent build-up, fantastic shot by Rodrigo). Credit to Inzaghi for his work.
I think that generally speaking, the back 3 is harder to penetrate, esp when you have MFs like Barella, Mkhi, Brozovic and Calha who are tactically very disciplined, great at pressing and press resistant when on the ball.

Stones is so versatile this year, it’s just crazy.
Great video, you perfectly showed why we were all wrong in believing City would squash Inter 4/5 - 0, even here in Italy.
I must say that luck was crucial for us in winning this ucl cause Inter were fantastic! I was absolutely seething when I heard all those pundits write off this match before it even started. Like they forgot that Italian teams play big matches like its a matter of life or death.
Both managers and teams had perfect plans and set ups for the day.
Every talking about City & Stones..
Acerbi & Bastoni had Haaland on clamps. DiMarco had Bernardino Silva on lock and brozovic was complete class he was always an outlet when City would press. Chalanoglu should been subbed out since the first half he was lost.
Inter suffered for their well planned reactive/defensive tactics they didn’t create enough consistent attacking chances
I think it was a small and only one out of two mistakes that cost them the goal in the entire game.(other being subbing lukaku).xG favours inter, I'm not bragging.tactically both teams were sound.i inzaghi read the game brilliantly.
what is a dynamo? This term was used to refer to Barella in the video at 2:30
Froim a purely tactical perspective, this game was a wet dream to watch. - it's was like watching a chess match. - the day pep retires will be a sad day for football. - the guys just completely on his own at the top.. I can't see anyone catching him anytime soon.

Great analysis and very informative. What’s your view why Walker didn’t start? I thought he was injured at first, but that wasn’t the main reason!?
probably no need for him against Inter as we dont have such dangerous players on the wings like Real's Vini Jr for example
Stones really should have won the MOTM award. He was everything, even did rodri’s job better than rodri will playing in almost every position. KDB getting injured also helped city is some ways because in Foden we became less predictable but i would have preferred Alvarez in that position to Foden.

Can you make a video about postecoglou?
Inzaghi's display of tactical masterclass in this match is completely overlooked. He completely dominated and neutalised City. Pep didn't win through tactical superiority, but rather due to superior quality of the players (or lack of finishing quality by Inter), and simply sheer luck. This is coming from a City fan of 20+ years and all I can say is that the football gods were on our side.
Pep's philosophy is only suited for drawn out week-in/week-out league style of competition, and isn't suited for knock-out tournaments.
@@deepstate7264 I'm not denying city made chances. But that was one of very few chances created in the whole game. Only clear chances came with Haaland's shot and a moment of brilliance by Bernado which went wide by an inch. Foden's chance only came once Inter were on the attack. But all in all, 4 clear chances on goal in 90 min is very low, esp by city's standards.

After al is said and done about Inter Milan being better tactically, congratulations citizens. Pased through Bayern, walked through Madrid. There was no permission to lose this!
Tbh inter should be really proud of themselves since most pundits ranked them ss the weakest team in the knockout stages they got the tactics spot on but the champions league you need more of luck
Inter played brilliantly against city. Inter could've and should've won that game. Inter have only themselves to blame for this defeat.
La clase táctica la dio el Inter.. que partido viste tu ? City gano gracias a su Arquero
Give this City team the respect these players have earned, City did amazing. The winner in a football is the team that scores the most goals. City did that. Inter entered this match from an underdog position, where City were favorites from before the group stages. That pressure was immense on the players, having never winning it. City did what was needed to win. Great game from inter, but the only stat that matters at the final whistle, is the score line. City create their luck by being the best team throughout the competition, which got them to the finals. They’ve played more games than inter have, all year. They created the moment where luck was all that was needed, just like Chelsea did two seasons ago, and just like Real Madrid did against City last season.

Pep could've done two pivot midfieldiers with a retracted Haaland as false 9 in closing the diamond when defending...He kinda did subtitutes when opponents were taking corners...The player entering would be instructed for that but not the rest of team...
I believe Julian Nagelsmann did the 3-1-6 shape also against inter in the group stage even before pep
Inter Milan played better than city....but Lukaku was the main man for city..😂.... As tatical inter manager was another level but Lukaku was there.....pep always good congratulations city....but according to my end inter played better than City..... without KBD city avarage team 🎉
Congratulation Inter Milan for winning 'PlAYInG BeTteR tHaN cITy TrOpHy' 🎉🤡🤡🥳
People making this silly comment make me wonder what they watch. Lukaku's introduction made inter start creating dangerous chances. Did lautaro score or make a pass leading to inter scoring? Did Dzeko create a chance during his involvement? Does lukaku have an eye behind his head. Did dimarco see lukaku ahead of him?Did dimarco have an option to head the ball to another direction?
s.inzaghi was samething else he comes to fianl dzeko, dermian, acerbi and mkhitarian all above 35 age and disasters what a manager👏
He is one of the most underrated managers imo. Dont forget that inter's owner Zhang is forbidden from pumping money into the club by the CCP, resulting in Inter running a very tight budget. As a fan of the club, I really hope he sells asap because the club deserves much better.
Inzaghi won the tactical game, this is how Inter like to play....but the attacking players (and Çalhanoğlu) were not up to the task...and they also were very unlucky........but props to City.
Pep the best of all time ❤️💙
Sure, Pep may have changed a few things but imagine what Inzaghi had to deal with...with a weaker team. Pep also admitted that way to be successful is to get a Messi or a Haaland. Simple. Inter had City's measure. It appeared that Inzaghi coached this game better than Guardiola and with a quarter of the budget. Congrats to City on the win.
Question, what if Cancelo plays instead of Stones
What should be? Stones was excellent
He did not change tactics-Inter made his tactics useless-they won by luck ,and by not using the chances by Lakaka also Cslhsnoglu could stop the Rodri shoot!
The pep tactics he used this season should be taught in sport school. Very unconventional but very effective.
As much as I love Inter, City deserves it. Still proud of my Nerazzurra. Congrats Citizens!
I mean, Pep really should thank Lukaka for letting them win the treble 😂
Nagglesman used this to expose inter in the groups stage & Pep just took advantage of it .
Moment of silence for rival fans u may suffer in the dark
What was the xG before City scored?
What do you think it would have been had they not scored?
The xG is not representative, those chances wasted by Lukaku surely are a great chunk of it.
@@XPL80 My point exactly. The heavy praise for Inter's performance is interesting. City we're far from their best but until the chaos of the last minutes, Inter never looked like scoring
@@ccmonter agreed, i think Pep knew it was going to be a hard game with little chances and hoped to control it and make use of the one or two he knew he was going to get. Those final minutes are out of anyone's plan, not even Inzagi, who planned the match well but was unable to create real danger until those chances. I think Pep studied Barça's match against inter in the group stage and had foreseen everything, as usual
I think Inter were the better team. We had them right where we wanted them. Unlucky not to score. The Lukaku chance will haunt my dreams
your betting dreams?😂
@@emmanuelasiedu5590 no my dreams. I’ve been an Inter fan since childhood
Brave to Inter, it is about the tactics this is Pep's time. City were lucky to win it.
Inzaghi beat him all 90min in tactics. what made the difference is quality of players because inter strikers forgot football. that's all
John Stone was impressive in the game
It was the first time i saw man city played not that good but lack of finishing from inter ,...anyway congrats man city on your win though.
Cruyff forever ❤ 🔥🔥
