    I find it funny how everybody always says where would Jordan be without Pippen... where would Lebron be without D Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Anthony Davis? More help, less titles but the biggest thing on that is everybody says that like Pippen came to the Bulls an allstar and automatically made them champions. No Pippen was a nobody and averaged less than 7 pts a game. He became a hall of fame player and defender why? Because who wouldn't guarding the most dominant offensive player in the history of basketball? After guarding Jordan everyday in practice everyone else in the league is chopped meat. Jordan "made" Pippen not the other way around.

      To boot, Jordan was a 2-guard. People also fail to bring up that rebounding comes on either side of the ball - offensive and defensive, where the former is more difficult to come by. Jordan averages more than LeBron does for their respective careers. Also, assists are more difficult to come by as a 2 than they are being a "point"/forward.

    “It took LeBron 3 years to do what it took Mike 7”
    The problem with that is LeBron had a very weak road. His first two opponents were 41-41 (0.500) teams who were missing key players. He beat the Pistons but they didn’t have the HOF coach or DPOY Ben Wallace. And then LeBron shot what.. 35% from the field for the entire seasons when 3 of 4 games were single digit deficits? Pretty sure he even shot less than 70% from the FT line and had 5+ turnovers a game.
    Put Jordan in that spot and he’s lighting them up for 35 a game shooting 45% and 90% from the FT line lol.

    • @kamay7021
      @kamay7021 Před 5 měsíci +2

      “The team was built around Jordan”
      The team was built around LeBron too, it was just built around LeBron poorly because LeBron wasn’t Mike. Mike was surrounded by great defenders and role players. So was LeBron. That’s actually why they even had a chance in the 2007 finals is because the Cavs were the best defensive team in the playoffs that year and held the Spurs down from their regular production. The way the Spurs beat LeBron was making him shoot jump shots. You can’t do that with Mike..

    • @kamay7021
      @kamay7021 Před 5 měsíci +1

      “People won on Jordan’s watch”
      Not as much as they did on LeBrons, and unfortunately you can’t blame Jordan for his losses when he’s averaging 35 a game on 50%+ shooting. Some of the losses in the 90s aren’t even on his watch because he wasn’t there.

    • @kamay7021
      @kamay7021 Před 5 měsíci +1

      “Marc robbed LeBron of DPOY”
      The distance between LeBron and Marc in points was the distance between in 2-7 on the DPOY list. LeBron was not even close. 1) being an anchor is more impactful, Grizzlies were a better defensive team, Marc was a better defensive player. LeBron’s Heat would’ve been one of the worst defensive teams ever to have a DPOY player if LeBron won it.

    • @kamay7021
      @kamay7021 Před 5 měsíci +1

      “LeBron worked on his midrange game“
      I guess compared to his young years this is true, when he was shooting like 35% from the midrange. During the Heat he shot around 42% and then dropped off again every year after besides his first year on the Lakers where shot 42% again. For some context, that is worse than Michael Jordan as a 40 year old man. His peak shooting from the midrange is equal to or worse than Jordan’s worst years from the midrange and outside of 2018 he was even worse than that in the playoffs

    • @kamay7021
      @kamay7021 Před 5 měsíci +2

      “Jordan game 3 needed Pippen”
      No one is saying Jordan never had a bad game. He’s never had a bad series, though. Especially when it matters. The next game, game 4, Jordan put up 54 points on 60% shooting, 67% from the 3 (9 3PA), while Pippen shot 28%. Pippen was heavily inconsistent throughout practically the entirety of his career and especially in the last 3peat when Jordan had some of the worst supporting casts in NBA history (98). Jordan would’ve had 7 rings if Pippen scores more than 2 points in 1990 game 7. No one else even had double digit points besides Horace Grant (10) who shot 17% and the team shot 30% overall with Jordan shooting 50%

    Until another player does what Jordan does or better, that is: get 10 scoring titles, 9 all defensive awards, lead the league in steals 3 seasons, get 200 blocks 100 steals in a season (TWICE), lead the league in scoring in regular season, playoffs, and finals (improving performance with each series), and get a higher PER overall, and having a 6-0 record in finals......you are not in the GOAT conversation.
    And to belittle his competition is to put down all time greats such as Clyde Drexler, Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Charles Barkely, Stockton, Malone, Isaiah Thomas, and other good teams in the eastern playoffs.

      On top of that, if Scottie had come into Lebron's squad at the SAME time as MJ's - their 3rd year - he would've NEVER developed and would be a utility player.

    1. Jordan is 3 inches shorter and 30+ lbs lighter than Lebron yet Bron's never won DPOY and only made an all defensive team 5 times while Jordan won a DPOY and made an all defensive team 9 times, all while playing less seasons
    2. Players across the league in the 80s and 90s FEARED Jordan. No NBA player has ever feared Lebron except maybe DeRozan
    3. Jordan prevented multiple superstars from winning rings. If mike was never born, Barkley, Stockton, Malone, Ewing and Reggie Miller may all have rings and completely different legacies today. The only thing LeBron prevented was the Pacers, Raptors and Bulls getting swept in the finals by the Spurs and Warriors
    4. Jordan gets eliminated by the Pistons three straight years and finally gets over the hump by sweeping them in '91 and the start of a dynasty. LeBron gets eliminated by the Celtics twice in 3 years and gives up and runs to South Beath
    5. In the entire history of the NBA there have been 5 threepeats... Jordan has 2 of em... Lebron had a chance to threepeat ONCE but instead got annihilated by Kawhi and 38 yr old Tim Duncan
    6. LeBron does not get GOAT points for making the Finals 8 straight years, in other words, he does not get GOAT points because he never lost 4 games to the George/Granger Pacers, DeRozan/Lowry Raptors, Rose/Butler Bulls, Ancient Pierce/ Garnett/Rondo Celtics or Rookie Tatum/Brown Celtics
    7. Jordan would of beaten Dirk in 2011, Jordan would of gotten a game or 2 on the Spurs in 2007, Jordan wouldn't have only managed one Finals win in 2014 and Jordan doesn't need to proclaim himself as the GOAT
    8. LeBron scored 8 points in a fucking Finals game and was the main reason his team lost a series they were heavily favored in...
    9. Paul George admitted on his podcast that playing in the East was much easier than playing in the West and in 2020, there was no Spurs, no GSW, no OKC, the Rockets were dysfunctional, my Nuggets were too young and the Lakers got to avoid playing the Clippers
    10. LeBron left the East to go to the Lakers RIGHT BEFORE guys like Giannis, Tatum and Embiid started to take over, he knew his reign in what was once a weak conference wouldn't last much longer
    In conclusion: Jordan >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Le4-6

Lebron is 37% (10-27) on game tying or go ahead shots with less the 25 seconds to go in the playoffs (Jordan is 10-19, or 53%) Lebron is 0-7 (or 0%) on such shots in the finals - Jordan is 4-8 (or 50%). Additionally, Lebron is 27.5% (8-23) in final 2 minutes of a finals game that is a 1 possession game. In the final 24 seconds of the 4th quarter or overtime, LeBron James has never made a potential game-tying or go-ahead shot in a potential series clincher, when facing elimination, or in the NBA Finals. Jordan won two championships on buzzer beaters. Lebron never won a championship in any season where he hit a game winning buzzer.
