Jazmine's ability to manipulate her voice to be able to execute the sound she wants, and to emote whatever message she needs to convey is second to none. Ledisi betta Yodel at 10:02 - 10:04.
Love what you said about nerves, and how some singers start off, so calm, and aren't like, I'M HERE!! Hey EVERYBODY, but like, let me tell you, let me say this to you.
I love when people let their tone do the talking, and doesn't have to resort to high notes, and big booming sounds to be the star of the show. They sprinkle the power around the performance, and builds the song and performance.
Ledisi meant it when she sang, "Stop tryna beeee SOMEONE YOU'RE NOoooOoooT!" 15:47 - 15:56
16:41 - 16:43 part is so UNDERRATED. At that part she was REALLY feelin it, she really was confident in, "YES, I'm SANGIN," "This Feels... good."

Dude, I like your way of understanding of a lot of different aspects of how to use the voice.
Even though I rather would see your way of analyzing some of the best masters such as Bilal and B. Slade. Sure, those whom you’ve done a video on aren’t bad. They are also in the big league, but they aren’t sickly impressive like those who I mentioned. Also I would want a video on Amy Winehouse.
Do those and then I’ll respond with my opinion. If you want to do videos on Bilal and B. Slade, I’ll tell you which videos of them singing live that I would suggest that you analyze.. 😊
Congratulations to many quality videos! ✌️

I just found your videos today...new sub here. I have to say that I have been singing my entire life in the church and in various choirs and I've never had anyone explain the physiological aspect of singing like you have. Very very interesting all the things we singers do without really knowing it.

This was great. Just a note on Stephanie Mills… she is Broadway Royalty. She made the move to R&B from broadly with a great career from the 70’s to the mid 90’s. She starred in the musical The Wiz as the original Dorothy in the stage presentation

He appreciates the style and techniques they all bring. Not comparing to say whose better. The way he analyzes it would allow singers who are learning to borrow some keypoints.

@Lasange 30:28 Speaking of MJ FUN FACT: Stephanie Mills was Michael Jackson's first girlfriend. So maybe they taught each other singing techniques.
Mill said in 2016: "I loved Michael! " (Via Closer) The seven-time Tony Award-winning singer went on to out one of Jackson's guilty pleasures.
