DC5 WATER LEAK UPDATE

whats good guys. just thought id do another water leak test since we seam sealed the seals and replaced the tail light gaskets. definitely still leaking from somewhere but not nearly as bad as it was. WE'RE GETTING THERE!

Yours could be the air vents back in the cubby area allowing water to come in when rain runs down off the inner edge of your bumper. That’s what mine was, I just fixed it. When I pour water between where the bumper meets the corner of the taillight it would come inside. I have to replace the vent but I’m sure just doing the rubber flapper would work as well

I had water in spare tire well... I Dont suspect tail light gaskets. I have cleaned water from spare tire well and observed after rain.. It appears it is running down c pillar (hatch bracing area).... Looks like the area where rubber along roof line (gutter) the body sealant has minor cracking but anyways maybe if u havent found it check that... I need to remove rear seats too because i feel wetness under seat also(check under ur seats too)

Did yo check your drain tubes to see if there not pluged because if water is gettin in the trunk there probably plugged! Run some compressed air threw them to unplug them there probably not letting the water escape properly! Just a thought homie!👊✌

hey man im getting water on the side from gas tank i dont think it has to do with the light but it from the hole where ur hand fits in on side of gas cap any ideas I know there also a vent there and think maybe wheel pick up the water push it in cause it happen more when I drive in rain then when I park

You might need to get inside and have some1 hose it down so you can see where its coming in.
