Great video love the RSX! I’ve done all that you did in this video besides the rain guards. Changing my headlights now
Keep these rsx videos coming. Blessings
I like to see and when you explain things. I had no complaints about anything in the video.
Go pro + your commentary = Gold brother 💯 💯Thanks for vid G
Glad you enjoyed! i appreciate it.
I rlly do appreciate your channel & videos , as an Rsx owner this rlly helps out a lot since I don’t have a garage to store my Rsx I’ve come across these problems multiple times but haven’t came around to actually fix the issues
I hope my videos are helping you. Thanks for the comment!
Great video I like what you have to say & that your videos are very detailed. I have a 2003 acura rsx(base), so your videos help me figure out how to do things on my car. ONCE AGAIN GREAT JOB ON THE VIDEO.
Thanks Charles. Glad the videos can help you
just got my first dc5. this video helped my out a lot. thanks man
So glad it could help.
Great video!
Awesome video. I watched the whole thing. Thanks!
So glad you enjoyed it
Thanks this helped a lot
Great guide. Thanks
Good video as always. Need to do the interior bulbs in the Tahoe once I get all these other projects done.
Man it makes a big difference. i really enjoyed making this video.
Very cool sir
thank you.
Bless video brother
Terry Basdeo thank you
@@SnowDrift keep up the great work, you inspire others with your words, people can learn something new just by listening to you speak.
I know some of my taillights are out but I am having difficiulty determining which of the 3 are out. If my signal works for the middle one does that mean the middle light is fine? I think its my middle tail light that is out but the signal works fine..
Bruh , 'good' is an over simplification. This video was great.
I appreciate it.
Great video!
At 26:31 the blinkers are on, that looks like a normal LED blinker flash (not hyperflash) is the video slowed down or that's what it actually is?
Also, did you change the front AND rear to LED flashers?
Mint car! If you ever decide to sell those mud flaps, I'll gladly buy them off you haha!
Great question. When the hazards are on it will not hyperflash. But if you do not have the resistors and only use the turn signals then it would. I have made a much newer video on the front LED conversion.
@@SnowDrift awesome, thank you for the quick reply! I just added you on IG by the way haha!
Also, this might help instead of load resistors, new flasher relay: CF15 Jl-02 (I just ordered it from Amazon)
Your bulbs are just as expensive as SiriusLED, guessing you have good quality stuff as well.
Thanks again!
I believe we need more drone footage while you're working on vehicles
i agree.
Got a leak but looks like it coming from vent on left above bumper and or the gas lid have a little hole and water getting in there
i think i have decided i will get an RSX as my first car!
Not a bad first vehicle. Having the k series is really nice considering it’s a popular platform for swaps. Huge aftermarket support for it.
@@SnowDrift That's the reason i want it. some cars don't have lots of aftermarket parts. i also chose this because i don't need something that's crazy fast. And this car being Japanese (and Acura being owned by Honda) should last me many miles to go.
Go for it! I just bought one a few months ago as my first car and it’s been amazing
awesome video ! can't wait to do this but u didn't show how u did the 3rd brake light! lol
I made a separate video on it because it’s funny
@@SnowDrift oh sorry ! I didn't see it!
@@bizzyboy3132 no worries
can u please send links to the LEDs?
Also, do you have other recipes for RSX taillights?
im telling you, add just a pinch of salt and it makes all the difference.
led lights illuminate faster than normal bulbs... so brake lights give you a slightly better reaction time (from other drivers)
Also if you get a stupid long screwdriver you don't have to remove the bumper. 2006 type-s anyway.
I’m glad I removed it. Found some other issues that I have since fixed in another video
I think you should've gone with red LED for the brakes. red on red is brighter. I recently installed those zevos...way brighter than stock
Wesley that’s what those are.
Did you have to buy a conversion kit for each LED? If so, do you have a link?
No idea what that is. I just bought led “bulbs”
Hey I have a question...
I have a 04 base RSX.
My trunk is definitely leaking water in and the moisture is also probably killing my rear light bulbs due to the bad gaskets.
Is the installation the same as the newer RSX?
The gaskets themselves are a little different but the process is identical
The gaskets themselves are a little different but the process is identical
It’s not about gaskets only. Did that and water keep coming. Check also any boot seals. It’s annoying factory defect of all tegras
How did you did the rewrite on the tailights so the can turn at the same time
What
Can you do a headlight one
Working on that right now. Will be out this week
Did you get any hyper flash?
For sure. I’m just too lazy to fix it 😂
How do you do the small red light in the hatch
you gotta pull the plastic out of the hatch itself, ive done it before, its a pain.
I did mine. But when I use a turn signal. It blinks faster than it used to. Any idea what causes the blinker to blink fast??
LEDs require less power to function. You need a resistor in line before the led.
Did you figure it out?
@@paulzamora4864 I left mine with the fast blinker :/
Has it leaked since you replaced the gaskets?
Yes it has. But my hatch lid weather striping has a tear in it so I’m going to try and replace that. It has gotten better
you dont actually need to remove the bumper. save your self some time.
i removed the bumper to replace the tail light.
What bulbs did you use? And are you using an led flasher?
i just used LEDs from my local auto parts store. and i will get a resistor at some point but i just havent gotten around to it.
Link to rain guard?
i got em off ebay lol. like 20 bucks for both, Ive had to add some better 3m tape to them but they have held up great.
I almost broke a tooth from how hard I cringed when he tossed that razor blade onto his car
It was on the sunroof my guy 😂 can’t scratch glass
Great video!
Thanks!
