- In this video we dive into fixing this issue that plagues almost all RSX's, I have had this issue in both my DC5's and in this one particularly for about 2 years.

Thanks for posting this video - it really helps explain how to get the console out of the dash. I can't believe it - the same thing happened to me with the gray bulbs (behind the buttons)! Except in my case, both the A/C bulb AND the rear defroster bulb stopped working! Arrgh!! Those things are expensive!!

Which light bulb is for the third knob to the right. The one that lights up the different sections of the car you want to air conditons

I've ordered some bulbs from Rock Auto -- I'll let you know if they work out -- they were considerably less than buying thru Amazon.
Follow up: The Rock Auto bulbs work perfectly. Brand name is Dorman, you could probably look them up. So nice to have my controls illuminated again! Thanks for the great video. :)

Did you buy the ones off Amazon? I did and they don’t twist properly into the holes. Have to send them back.

Question, the first 2 bulbs were the same part number but the third one wasn’t? How come ? And there was some white ones and gray ones? None of the ac control lights work on mine so would I have to buy 3 of the gray ones and 2 whites ?

I would think that they are all either shot or you have a blown fuse somewhere.
Hey man I know this vid is old but what should I do if that clip part of the green plug isn't there? Would it be impossible to remove the climate control piece?

It’s 2 different bulbs but you need 3 of each

@@bryanrivera6066 I literally show where they go in the video Bryan. The two A01 bulbs illuminate the the area surrounding the knobs. The three N41 bulbs illuminate the knobs themselves.
Whats the part number for the other 3 bulbs? The gray ones

Do you know if you can change the color of the lights ?
Anything is possible, im pretty sure ive seen some that are blue, but you cant simply change the bulb color, the bulbs are actually just white light and red color comes from the tinted plastic on the inside, if that can be pulled out and replaced then yes.

Don’t buy the cheapo Dorman parts. The plastic deforms from the heat and the bulb gets stuck in the assembly.
I replaced the bulb but it’s still not turning red
Did the board look ok? No burn spots or anything?
@@SnowDrift no, this is actually the third climate control panel I’ve purchased I think it has to be a fuse or something
@@SnowDrift also my cruise control, roof, and mirror lights don’t turn on. Everything works fine except for the red backlights and idk why
