The new gasket didn't do Jack for me and water was still going into my tail light. What happened was the tail light housing didn't properly "cupped" the gasket foam. Think of putting a glass over a flat piece of clay. What shape do you get? Round circle right? Now think of not getting a complete circle. That's how my water was getting in. Common issue with DC5's by many owners, I see only as a design flaw.

U can also use and glue that u put on after u sand and clean around the light on body and when u put that glue and put light back on it will dry and create a seal around the lip of light iv head ppl do that and put a new gasket and work way better
