The thing is: Mr Satan IS actually a good and strong fighter. He didn't won the torunament for nothing. But... all the former competitors like Goku, Piccolo and Krillin are SO MUCH stronger then him. Even when they were Kids, Goku and Krillin fought against the world elite AND former champions. The training of Muten Roshi is simply to great to be compared to any other martial arts teacher.
I think Demon King Piccolo incident traumatize all strong fighters from early DB era. They're like, screw the tournament and it's prize money, I'm keeping my life.

I assume Tien's school is probably overall superior to Roshi's these days. He just needs his own Goku to teach and really put his school on the DBZ map, but even his current students could probably go into a tournament and eliminate everybody else. They just aren't interested in that.

Vegeta is an ABSOLUTE SAVAGE, for getting back up so many times, he serves as punching bag through their entire fight but he's a PROUD saiyan PRINCE and he didn't give up, no matter what. What a BEAST, props to Vegeta.

Something that’s definitely worth noting here:
Yes, Mr. Satan is insane for challenging Kid Buu.
Yes, he would easily and unquestionably die fighting him with little effort on Buu’s part.
But please notice the ever so subtle character development that happened there: Mr. Satan, effectively the last human alive for showing kindness to Buu prior to his metamorphosis, was willing to take the L for Buu to protect him from Kid Buu. Regardless of how scared he was of Kid Buu, he still stood his ground for the sake of someone else. Even if it was briefly.
Mr. Satan is also way stronger than people give him credit for, I mean, his punches were able to MOVE Kid Buu. Even if it was just jiggling back and forth, Kid Buu can tank SSJ3 punches, so for a human to cause even the tiniest bit of movement there is INSANE
No*** effort on Buu’s part
Mr Satan is also a fraud. He got his fame and money from lying to the entire world. You also forget that Satan became friends with fat Buu out of _fear_ because he knew he couldn't use martial arts and so his plan was to blow up Buu which he actually went through with but when the explosive had no effect on Buu, he friended Buu out of his own survival and self-preservation.
The pink mansion that Satan paid for, that was Gohan's money. People donated to Satan thinking that he ended Cell but it was Gohan who ended him. It annoys me to no end that people forget these things. Out of all the humans to be the sole survivor, it had to be the one with the most flaws. Tsk.

Krillien used to be a trickster who’d play dirty to get what he wanted.
Yamcha used to be a desert bandit that used to rob people by assaulting them.
Tien used to be with the crane school which taught students how to be brutal-and possibly criminals.
Piccolo’s goals used to align with the evil king piccolo’s goals of destruction and world domination.
Vegeta used to be pure evil until he was tamed by earth.
The androids where programmed to kill goku, but now they chill with him.
I can keep going but I’m sure you get the point.

MVP of the Buu fight
As well as the Buu Arc as a whole. His time with Fat Buu, actually saving the world by telling him that killing is wrong, beating up Van Zant and Smitty, and helping Goku and Vegeta save the universe.
Vegeta gets an honorary *W* for his efforts, but Mr Satan is the real MVP in this part of the fight.
His brief friendship with the childish Buu has helped delay (or totally avert) so many L's, and he's not done yet...

Bruh, imagine having to wait a week between episodes. Watching these back in the day was a struggle, you're lucky you get to watch at your own pace.
Especially when there would be a delay in the dubbing so they'd just go back to the beginning of the arc and start over to give funimation time to finish.
You just described the worst part of my childhood, i missed schoolwork on the weekends when it finally aired tho, i stopped playing GTA SA 3 minutes before it came on, locked my door and cranked the volume up, if someone had a childhood without dbz i wouldnt count it as a childhood😂😂
It aired everyday for an hour with the first part being a rerun of the last day. Amazing times.

Honestly Fat Buu coming back wasn't something I was expecting back in the day, the whole thing just came out of nowhere as I was watching the fight each day

He knew he wasn’t able to beat Buu and he knew that goku had the power to kill kid Buu so he gave it his all for just time for goku to end the fight
I think Goku's body was too exhausted to get back to full power, his body did go through a lot in the fight against Buu. But Goku did mention that was easier to gather energy when his body was dead.
Even dead, he couldn't have beaten Buu. He could only make the fight drag out longer and more even.
Yea. I feel like there is a definite difference between being alive and dead. It probably also has to do with the fact that it’s probably easier to regain stamina and power but also just the toll that ssj3 puts on his body is way to much for a mortal body to quickly recover from

@@RaymonPrivgeTRusit He can't. Z Eng Dub has plenty of errors. Goku originally admits he underestimated Kid Buu and wasn't sure if he could beat him even if he was fresh. Buu's just playing around here.
Buu was the one who was originally dragging it out, Goku fought his hardest from the start.
Vegeta has a lot of endurance. He was able to endure brutal beatings from Frieza, Cell & Buu

I felt made defiant and prideful when I saw this the first time. Say what you want but NOBODY in the series can take a beating like Vegeta and STILL get back up to fight like that.
Vegeta has DEFINITELY came A LOOOOONGGG way, since DBZ started, the way he has changed, the Vegeta back then, would have NEVER served as a punching back for Goku. He would have rather, finished Goku off himself, or sent him to the wolves than, ever lend him a hand much LESS get his butt wooped by Buu, for a low-class saiyan. SO MUCH CHARACTER GROWTH.

Hercule has gotten hit in the head so many times by rocks and debris in this arc alone, man’s collected every concussion possible yet he’s still talking straight
So Mr. Satan unlocked the power of Ultra Concussion and used that to dodge all of Kid Buu’s attacks. Goku could learn a thing or 2 from the world champ!
@@Echo-nn8dt Obviously, I mean the only things he could get hit by were things with no presence, like rubble. Since they had no intent or essence, he couldn’t avoid them. Ultra Concussed is a level of braindead so intense, all becomes a clear glaze

This vegita ARC is the best arc. His growth made him my favorite character
One thing to keep in mind for DBZ fights, hanging back and attacking with ki will drain you faster than physically fighting. You’re using your own energy to launch them, so it’s exhausting to do it too long.
Vegeta likes to launch a barrage of smaller ones a lot, not sure if it’s to conserve energy or just his version of raging out, but it’s kinda his thing.

You need recognize that Fat Buu is fusion with Fat Kai from the past. That's why he exist as separate character.
But kid buu was also part of that fusion

Seriously, that electric Attack Kid Buu does against Vegeta could be used in games but they don't include it...

I haven't said this yet, but I really appreciate the daily uploads of DBZ, the last few weeks, and this has truly been a journey since your about to be at the end of this arc. DBZ has had so many memorable moments, since when Vegeta first ascended to throne of being a SSJ, to Vegeta becoming SV for the 1st time, to Gohan being the 1st SSJ2, to the father-son Kamehameha, all the way to the end of this arc. It's has truly been a blast and it's almost over. Thank you for all the uploads and keep it going brother, because the ending is the best part! 👍
Despite his annoying character every now and then, Mr. Satan does have his good moments. While GT has the fanbase divided on it being liked or hated ( I like it), he'll have another moment there. I recommend GT after this before Super. That way you get to see what was at the time, the end of Dragon Ball for all we knew vs the new series.

See what Buu did to Vegeta? That's what would have happened to goku had he been stupid enough to fight in SSJ2 like in the anime. That's why in the Manga he goes straight to 3.

I actually thought Satan was a funny goof till I saw the end. The problem for super saiyan 3 is heavy drain in energy causing a toll for stamina. That's why it's not the best form for a drawn out long battle . You are almost at the end.

Vegeta is the MVP in this fight for me, don't care if he took a beating or not he did what was needed and no matter what he keep geting up even if dyeing at this moment would mean he would die once and for all

Vegeta's performance here is a massive W if you remember how SSJ2 is a fourth the strength of SSJ3. Kid Buu is warmed up to around SSJ3's level by this point, but even then he couldn't keep Vegeta down. _And_ Vegeta even managed to land a few hits.
That's like playing Dark Souls with a roll that is four times slower, and still getting some shots in on the bosses.

I thought the runtime for this video was 3 minutes instead of 30 minutes. So I thought that meant that Vegeta's fight with Buu was much shorter than I remember, and Aimin decided to make a joke of it by uploading a whole 3 minute video of that fight.
Edit: In the end, it turned out to be the complete opposite. Always massive respect for Vegeta...despite the fact he's probably single-handedly genocided a few worlds himself.
Fun fact you probably didn't know Aimin : Only the Buu's fighting each other can physically hurt each other . Like they can actually damage each other fist fighting but Goku and the others couldn't really damage him physically .

around 8:30 that's a mistranslation from the english dub, in the og and the manga Vegeta tells goku that he shouldn't hold back for his sake and goku says that he hasn't been holding back and has been trying to eliminate buu from the start but he hasn't had the chance.
then he says "maybe we acted too cocky! fusion should have done it!", plus he says kid buu is the one that dragged the fight on purpose for fun, not goku. afterwards goku says that if he had one minute to charge hus ki to the max he might be able to get rid of buu.
As far as humans go Satan is by far the strongest, like his feats are literally superhuman, he pulls like 30 buses, & chops like 40 bricks in one go😂. He's no slouch, he's the strongest non ki using character, you gotta give him his props fr. Dude survives getting hit by cell, & getting punched by kid Buu, like dude is nuts😂

Error in the Z dub. Goku couldn't have beaten Kid Buu by himself, even fresh. In the manga he went 100% and even started out as SSJ3 from the start.

The problem with SSJ3 is the same Trunks had back then when he fought Perfect Cell: these transformations consume huge amounts of energy. That's why Gotenks fusion only lasts for 5 minutes when they go straight to SSJ3 and that's why Goku's time on Earth was reduced significaly when he fought Fat Buu.
Now with a living body Goku can not keep SSJ3 for very long time, thing that he was able to do when he was in the otherworld.
