I have the Ql-1100 and for some reason I have to reinstall the driver every time I turn it on, to make it print otherwise print jobs just get stuck in the queue and nothing happens. edit: I figured it out... I had to switch the "Editor Lite" button to off.
when i try to print it either has the printer "offline" or when i can find it whether doing it through my phone or computer the power is blinking red. its not a roll or size problem as ive tried both what am i doing wrong?

Maybe a Polono or Munbyn printer. Something that has the labels externally. You can go for a Rollo but they aren't cheap but they are cheaper than this Brother printer.
You can do it from a phone. You'll just have to get the printer on your network with a cable or with the wifi wps button. Have you watched the other videos on this printer?
The Dymo 4xl can you throw out the window unless you can buy it for 20-30 bucks. The rollo have the same interface as the Dymo, but to a little lower price. The brother is the winner in what you can connect it to. But if you know you only need it with a computer, the rollo or any of those cheaper printers eric have shown of on the channel will work great. Brother is the better if you need it wireless or so.
@@thecollegepicker thanks! I was watching some more of your videos and I think I’m going to get the 1110nwb for future proofing. Right now I use a desktop but will prob get a laptop soon and I think the wireless/Bluetooth functionality for phone printing will be great. Also I found a used one for under $200!

Hm, as far as I know, you always install drivers first and then plug in USB. There is actually a warning sticker on most printers and devices.

Yes it's USB only. If you don't need 300 dpi I would consider the Rollo printer

Have you ever got an error code saying “cover open” but it’s actually closed?
Sensor on your printer is probably broken and it thinks the printer is opened.
followed the steps, I get a "USB connection error"

I print from Etsy all the time. It sounds like user error
