Oh, your videos bring me so much joy! Silver shoes, particularly heels, have been incredibly trendy for the past few years. I've collected them in every style imaginable, though I particularly adore them for evening outings. And velvet-well, it's my absolute favorite, especially living in London. Nothing quite compares to the elegance of a black or emerald velvet dress for an evening affair. Ah, simply timeless!

I have always had a pair of silver & gold shoes & small silver or gold handbags whether they are in fashion or not......they have always been a pop of glam. I have always owned velvet whether on trend or not ..same with classic "office wear".....it all boils down to which combination of items with what... Same with eyewear...finally settled on a pair of Classic Ray Ban Wayfarer frames for myself using my prescription progressive lens in Transition glass-Indoor/Outdoor glasses; Wayfarer always in style since 1952 & the Aviators since 1937!!! Shop your closet Girls!!!
I adored the 70s. I was in my 20s and before vanity sizing I could find clothing that fit my slim petite frame. I had a moss green velvet blazer which I loved. The nineties oversized clothing was never my style. I have a pair of silver mid heel pumps and so glad they are in style. I have a red coat, red and burgundy sweaters and purses.

Silver shoes all the way! I’m in Brooklyn and I walk around all day long so I’m with you on a gorgeous pair of silver sneakers! I totally wore that in the 90’s, too!!
In a vintage second hand shop I found a burgundy velvet cross between a smoking jacket and loose coat, and it has been my winter party outfit and had nothing but 'Wow' complements. It also has Dynasty padded shoulders, so is a bit like a dressing up box outfit. But I do think if you wear something outrageous and silently think 'I look a stunner' - you possibly do?
It's a laugh, anyway.

I absolutely love my silver kitten heels I pair them with a cute black or white button down shirts and slim pair of jeans with a silver belt i also love vintage clothes like the 70’s fashion I have these deep wine colored velvet pants which are my favorite pair I own with a cute white sweater!! Silver heels or sneakers are my favorite trend... all the way so 90s. I also love the Bohemian dress over jeans or pants I love, not so sure of the skirt however. I adore velvet that's something I never knew would go out of style ever.

I wonder if you might be able to do more videos that address the needs of women over 50 who are struggling with weight in the middle. It is hard for us to find clothes that look good because we are perhaps so round that there is no "line" to work with. Merci!

I had silver loafers back in the mid 80’s- wore them a lot. I had velvet pants too that I loved.

I live in a cold weather state in US. I work remote on Zoom calls. I am loving my velvet smoking jackets with my turtleneck cashmere sweaters in the same color. On my pc camera, it gives such a lovely contrast in textures with a monochrome color
I love silver shoes. They go with everything in my wardrobe. I have silver platform Converse high tops, silver kitten heels, silver low top sneakers, and silver platform oxfords / brogues. Also obsessed with stripes! Love the grey jeans and have been wanting some for years. Maybe I can find some that work! Also love idea of the hoodie and blazer, but I have big upper arms and it's really hard to layer pieces like that. I go for the hoodie and structured coat look when I can. So fab! Oh yeah and socks and sandals are a total jam!! I just don't wear heels so I can't really do that one, but I love to admire it. Fun socks are always a win!!!

Yes to cardigans, grey jeans, velvet, striped shirts and oversized shirts. I love Bermuda shorts. I purchased two pairs last spring. I have a pair of navy and a pair of white linen. Love them. I just purchased a red turtleneck sweater this winter that I plan to wear with my grey trousers and blazer (and of course with jeans). I may have to consider silver sneakers. You will love NYC. So much shopping, Broadway plays, museums, and great food. My daughter lives there and I enjoy visiting. Wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking to be done. Great video.

Loved the red trend, no problem since it is a colour that suits my skin! Love the silver shoes too, these i will start looking for... and i already do the hoodie under a tailored blazer with a pair of jeans, either sneakers or nice booties... it is informal, relaxed with a touch of chic. My gosh. How lucky I am ! Velvet is my fave!!! I have blasers that I wear all the time..i just recently bought me one in red. I love red. I wear almoat everything you said except that men's shirt eith horizontal lines from the 70s! Other than that my personal style is absolutely 90% what you said. Cardigan, velver, red color, oversized shirts and blazers, skirt over pants, hoodie undrr blazer, silver shoes...these ARE my style and I knew it is a bit different but wore this style since ever. Thank God I am loaded and ready to embrace 2024. I mean, gosh, how lucky I am yhat finally the style this year speaks my language !!!!!

I love silver shoes! They were so popular in the early 80’s and have come around several times since . I love the white shirts and vertical stripes (not too bold though!). I didn’t do socks with dress shoes or any kind of sandals but remember that in the 90’s. I think I remember Madonna wearing that! Im 63 and you speak of dressing one’s age and that looks so juvenile-fine for high school and college aged girls maybe. Skirts over pants. I remember seeing that on the runway but I never saw anyone wearing that look wear I lived. It reminds me of those people that live on the street and they wear everything they own at one time …🫣 it’s a hard no for me then and now! Awful in general and completely UNflattering. I think one’s clothes should make one look their best or make the most of what one has as long as it is appropriate (not too revealing/“sexy.” I love velvet and velour-similar looking but totally different fabrics. Oh my I love the red! I would wear red pants or dress but wouldn’t want to overdo it. I love the red accessories, aka “pop” of color such as handbag, shoes or scarf. I love the kitten heels mostly because at 63 my feet struggle a bit and I can’t wear those sky high heels that have been in style for the last 10-15 years. I’m not into too much “oversized” anything -not flattering on ME. We mature ladies have to consider the frumpy factor and cardigans and socks with dress shoes and oversized clothing looks frumpy. It will be nice to get a pair of kitten heel shoes in all of the basic colors and a pair or two of boots. They really are classic and therefore always in style even if they aren’t at the ultimate height of “fashion.” (Pardon the pun 😉😄)
