Train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen cable car to Grütschalp - Swiss Traveling Jungfrau Alps

We explain how to get from the area around the Interlaken West station in Interlaken, Switzerland, to Lauterbrunnen and then up to Grütschalp where travelers can board a narrow gauge train to Murren. We explain the process, show the train stations, explain the benefits of having the Berner Oberland Pass for this type of trip, talk about the bus option to Wilderswil station, explain where to find the Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp cable car station, and show you footage of us doing the process. We did this trip in early June 2024, leaving our hotel near Interlaken West about 5:45 in the morning and arriving at Grütschalp an hour later. You can do the same trip in the same amount of time just about any partof day between 6 in the morning to around 9 at night.
